Hard to beat for our purposes

Choose somewhere nicer - it won’t be hard to find somewhere else

The location was very good, but there isn’t much else to say to support a stay here.

Cons:

The property was generally fairly tired and grotty. The tiles in the shower were black with mould and there were areas that hadn’t been cleaned for months it seems. It is certainly not of the standard I would expect from the Mercure brand. Overpriced and basic.

It was ok but not sure we would stay there again unless the other places are booked out. Sometimes the little things mat
Pros:

We have stayed at various places in Mildura but this was our first time at Mecure Hotel. I liked the room and that it was so quiet and we couldn’t hear any outside noises. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve had but was reasonable and we both had a good night sleep. Parking was convenient and staff at the counter were friendly.

Cons:

Firstly there was no milk in our fridge so we were unable to have coffee when we came back at 11pm at night. All other hotels we have stayed at in Mildura also offered a few biscuits which we didn’t have. Also a jug of water would be great in the fridge. There is something gross about getting water in the bathroom for the kettle where your partner has just gone to the toilet haha!
Also we were in room 208 and the air conditioner had old dripped blue chemical fluid all over the wall that looked like it had been there a while so it made the place look uncared for and it was right in view from the bed where the television was.
