Great airport hotel
Pros:

Friendly and helpful reception. Spa and treatment good. Bar and restaurant excellent. Shuttle service to the airport was perfect.

Cons:

There were too many people in the spa at one time for me.

Not a great option for the airport
Pros:

Cons:

I only stayed at the Winter Garden Hotel because it was close to the airport. In fact it cost me 20 Euros each way by taxi to get to and from the airport. I tried to get a shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport in the morning but was told that there was only one an hour and the next one was fully booked so I would have to wait nearly 2 hours - so I had to catch a taxi. Later in the same trip I caught a bus from the airport into the city centre - the buses run every few minutes and are very cheap. Next time therefore I would stay at a hotel in town rather than the Winter Garden Hotel.
