Great place to stay in again
Pros:

the location of the hotel is in within the city centre. The grat surprise to us a family is that the hotel is incoporated in a beutifal mall with nice brands, resto and cenima. For a famlity these are great added benifits

Cons:

Minor things:
The room and the bathroom were extremely clean but renovation of the decoration will add more to it
The food options in the breakfast were littel bit limited

Pros:

Friendly staff.
Location in the centre of Aberdeen near the railway station was convenient.
Breakfast buffet offered lots of choices.

Cons:

Double bed was uncomfortable. We asked for a room with a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub with a shower. What we got was a wheelchair accessible bathroom. Not a problem in itself, but this is the second Scottish hotel we stayed in that doesn't offer bathrooms with cubical showers. The bathroom was a bit grungy... and worse the towels smelled of bleach. That should have warned me not to use them as the following day my eyelids were swollen.
The breakfast was good, but the dining room wasn't clean. The tables were sticky and the furniture and carpets have definitely seen better days. This is supposed to be a four-star hotel, but we've stayed in better three-star hotels.
