Cons:

During my stay, I had to pay a $250 deposit. I was told it would be refunded immediately after my stay. Two weeks later, I still haven’t received anything back, and I’ve sent several emails about this, but I haven’t received a single response. I think this is completely unacceptable service, and I expected more from a big-name chain like Marriott. I advise everyone against booking here.

Pros:

Generally, the room is spacious and comfortable. The location is just right, close to many restaurants and within walking distance to the trolley station.

Cons:

There is no safe box. The nearest bus station is about 15 minutes away.

Pros:

Location & Staff were amazing! The valet parking was expensive but I guess thats just SD honestly. The Location is walkable to everything , literally everything. Clean rooms and very accommodating.

Cons:

Had down alternative pillows (foam) but not a blanket. It was fine , turn up the thermostat is all

Good hotel with expensive parking.
Pros:

Access to stadium, food, & nightlife.

Cons:

Room rates were pricey. Parking was also very expensive. Getting to & from the hotel was difficult due to Padres games and traffic.

Pros:

Nice central location for Gaslamp area and walking distance to Padres games. Property was very nice and clean.

Cons:

A bit noisy out on the street. A/C was really high and hallways were freezing
Parking was too high for guests

Exceptional Service and Sparkling Cleanliness In Downtown San Diego
Pros:

This Residence Inn hotel is located in downtown San Diego around a lot of attractions and restaurants. It is one of the cleanest Residence Inn my family and I have stayed in. During check-in, the front desk person, Vic took good care of us, answering my questions with respect, regard and dignity. He was very professional, kind and nice all at the same time. He made not just me and my children feel valued but also the guests before us that I saw him check-in. Staff like him in the hospitality business make your stay not only pleasant but assuring because when you receive such warm welcome at the beginning of your atay, you know your concerns will be well taken care of should you have any. Also, when I called for blankets and bedsheets, my request was met with immediate attention and service without the staff feeling bothered by it. I wish we stayed longer in this hotel. The breakfast was also good and the breakfast staff were fantastic! Always smiling and ready to assist with what guests needed. This is one place you want to stay if you’re travelling solo or with family.

The location is perfect, near to many stores and good restaurants.
I needed to buy a small product that I can only find in the USA, and they agreed to receive and hold it until I arrived a few days later.

Ponen que tiene estacionamiento y nunca mencionan que te cobran 70 dólares por día, lo cual sea me hace y una tomada de pelo ya que lo deberían de aclarar

Pros:

The hotel had anything we needed for trip. I did appreciate that there were plenty of pans and pots in the kitchen, with a good amount of glassware and dinnerware. The room was clean and very comfy, the breakfast was surprisingly good for 3 star hotel.
The location is excellent, the heart of the city. The dog part and a playground were 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Cons:

We parked a car on a valet parking, and the next day the car was dirty and covered in come sticky thing. I am not sure where it stayed overnight but the valet person wasn't able to explain why that happened. I say this is one real downside
