Pros:

Loved the rustic feeling and authenticity of the hotel. The staff was also lovely and the room was a bit outdated but ok for one night.

The restaurant is also great.

Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ok
Pros:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude (günstigste Kategorie). Dieses war schon etwas in dir Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Zimmer sehr groß, bequemes Bett.
Für eine Übernachtung unterwegs auf dem West Highland Way in Ordnung.

Zimmer (im Nebengebäude) etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

A great place to rest along the west highland way
Pros:

Great room with a BATH! Food was wonderful, a good range of beers after a long day's walking. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options and there was actually porridge in a big bowl on a burner to keep it warm, very tasty, and the only place we stayed on the WHW where we could get it!

Cons:

I had a bath in the afternoon soon after we arrived, but the water was only warm. A little disappointing.

Pros:

Breakfast was average. Continental selection poor.

Cons:

People smoking at the back door with the door open. You could smell the smoke in our room.
