For the location and the room size and comfy beds. Worth the value.

Pros:

The view from our room over the Harbour was spectacular.

Cons:

The restaurant was closed for winter although we were there in September. There was no fire evacuation plan in the room. The fire alarm went off early in the he morning leading to confusion amongst guests gathered in the carpark with no staff in sight.

Pros:

Its a small town but a very beautiful town! All the restaurants are at walking distance from Strahan Village. The room was cozy, clean and warm! Loved it!

We enjoyed our time at Strahan Village, and would stay again during the Summer.
Pros:

The accomodation was central enough to town, although still had a separate drive and parking to feel secure.

Cons:

It was advertised that there was a restaurant as part of the property, however when we arrived there was a sign saying this was closed during winter. This had been one of the reasons we booked there, as we knew there wouldn’t be very many other places to eat, so was a bit disappointed in that regard.

Nice accommodation in a good location
Pros:

The view was beautiful,we were upgraded to the best room available so the receptionist said. It was in great location, you could walk everywhere

Great location in the heart of Strahan. Went during winter so the hotel’s restaurant was closed and also very little eating options in general. Other than that walkable to the Gordon River dock.

It was pleasant for a one night stay
Pros:

It was in a good location and was clean although could do with a little maintenance on the buildings.

Cons:

It could do with some maintenance of the buildings and rooms. It would have been nice to have a room with a view of the gardens/water rather than the car park. I took up the offer of paying for a charcuterie plate for an extra cost. Some of the meats were quite dried out and the biscuits were a little stale. A whole bowl of seeded mustard was a waste.
