Overall, very good.
Pros:

Friendly , clean , good location

Cons:

The cushions are too high and are not soft at all . Me and my wife had some cervical spine pain in the morning . The Matress was good .

Cons:

The rooms smell musty! The first room they gave us smelled so bad, that it has a separate humidifier and it seemed like the previous guest sprayed his cologne on it to help with the smell. That room shouldn’t be available it was awful. We asked for a room change. The second room was better but still had a musty smell as well.

Worn out shabby hotel in good spot with friendly staff
Pros:

The location. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable and warm and helped us with multiple requests and travel arrangements.

Cons:

While large, the hotel is very shabby and run down and is desperately in need of refurbishment. The rooms are large but they are sad, frayed and worn around the edges. The thermostat was impossible to control, even after housekeeping looked at it. The phones did not work and the TV kept flickering on and off. The food at the restaurant had a lot of variety but was not especially tasty.

I had a great time at Le Meridien in Panama. The service was very good. The breakfast staff took good care of us. Marco our breakfast waiter one day was very attentive.
