Stunning grounds, unrivalled breakfast and helpful staff made for a delightful stay.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and large room

Cons:

The bed was two singles pushed together with just a sheet over so was quite uncomfortable to sleep on with my partner. Also spa access wasn’t available which was a huge disappointment as that’s the sole reason we booked.

Pros:

Very high standard of finishes in lodge, spotless. Lovely size. Staff very friendly & helpful

Cons:

Over by the lake there is a sewerage system & the smell is really bad & it takes away from the beauty of it & therefore you can't stay at it for any length which is a shame

Pros:

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The room was perfect, the shower was fantastic and the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet rooms that felt very private, and a good atmosphere.
Pros:

Views across the golf course and greens, quiet, large rooms, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant was pleasant in the evenings too.

Cons:

The double bed was actually two divan beds, so quite uncomfortable for a couple and a little disappointing considering the cost of the room. But the pillows were good, and everything was clean.

Pros:

The stay had a few positive aspects, but overall it was not a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very poor and essentially inedible, which was quite disappointing.

The room itself felt old and had an unpleasant smell, making it uncomfortable to stay in.

On a more positive note, the spa area was okay, and there was a very cute cat at the reception, which was a nice touch.

Pros:

The venue was lovely, and the reception staff were excellent and really helpful.
The restaurant staff were a little slow and not too attentive.
overall it was a good stay and i would not hesitate to return.

Pros:

Our waitress, Helen, was exceptional. She was so attentive, so polite, so efficient and just gave us fantastic service.

Cons:

I think robes should be available to use from the sauna area to the spa. We had to get dressed after our sauna to go for our massage - I'd expect better from a resort like this.
