Great location
Nothing
Tranquil atmosphere, brilliant cottages and state of the art facilities
For a 7 day stay, no housekeeping in cottages
Location & breakfast was good
On arriving in our room we found a pair of mens underwear under the full length curtains on the floor & the table hadn't been wiped
Location is beautiful and everywhere clean and tidy. Room exceptional. Breakfast was excellent, everyone’s tastes catered for and staff very attentive.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Creaky floorboards (which can’t be helped)
great spot as we were there for the golf
starting to feel dated, no fridge in room or usb ports
Looked nice
Golfers were noisy, got looked down by staff compared to others for what I was dressed in, facilities in bedroom were sub standard, bed was 2 singles pushed together for how much the rooms cost
Loved the cottages
One thing is maybe air conditioning as we were there during a hot week
Scenic location
Room lacked mini bar/ fridge or trouser press (although there was an iron/ ironing board)
Just lovely
You have everything you need
It was clean and spacious
The room was very clean and lovely and cool in the heatwave - air conditioning was excellent
It’s not that I don’t like anything , I just thought for a place of this standard it could have done with better outside facilities for enjoying the weather . Some nice tables and chairs , parasols etc would have been nice , but all there was were some plastic style chairs and wooden benches you would expect to see in a pub garden .
Breakfast was very good. The room was great - it was clean, quiet, with comfortable beds, lovely views, and the air con worked well. The room was larger than expected, the bathroom was large too. The golf course and setting was beautiful.
Nothing comes to mind
THe room was comfortable and the facilities within the hotel met my expectations
