Good location with free parking + good dining options
Pros:

Location is great - in town but out of the 'noise'.
Really good breakfast - staff and coffee great. We didn't have dinner here so cannot comment.
On-site parking free. Close to 'Big Winch' - best viewing spot in town

Cons:

Rooms are good but simple (no extra comforts). Stairs to upper levels

Great overnight rest stop, comfy beds, friendly staff.
Pros:

The front desk staff was exceptional on the night. We arrived around 630pm- and were very keen to explore the underground museum. The person on the desk, (sadly I didn't write down his name) kept the museum open for us to explore. The free coffee was meant to start at 7am, but the staff were happy to accomodate us at 0630, as we were trying to get a head start back to Adelaide.

Cons:

Nothing we had a great overnight rest. Parking was a bit tricky at night, but we eventually find a spot near to our rooms. Better lighting in car park would help, but as in most Coober Pedy joints, you just park wherever you can squeeze in.

We enjoyed Coober Pedy. It was an interesting place.
Pros:

We were expecting to be further undergound. It was lovely, but we thought it was deeper down.

Cons:

That it wasn't underground

Terrible
Pros:

Updated restaurant and bar area seemed nice

Cons:

Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and rooms are noisy, the blanket in the cupboard was that old it was falling apart. The Desert Cave needs to be updated on the accommodation, looks like no money has been spent on the accommodation for years. Very poor.

Pros:

The staff are lovely and friendly, and there's secure parking.

Cons:

1. We booked a room with breakfast included, but were very disappointed that there was no breakfast provided. When we ordered food, they charged an extra $48.
2. The bed sheets were dirty.
3. The room smelled so strongly of sewage that it was nauseating.
