Pricing was excellent - location quiet and safe - Staff very pleasant
good comfortable room
have stayed here multiple times as is affordable, clean, comfortable and great location. unfortunately this timemno consideration by the hotel to put a family away from a wedding on the Saturday night we were on the 2nd floor and had very very loud music until 11pm...love a good wedding but the hotel really needs to think about where they put guests
View to Hills nice, big room. Close to public transport and cafes.
Breakfast is exceptional and a very good price. Fresh, big selection and staff attentive,
Very disappointing there is only 1 lift working with the number of guests using it. Daily housekeeping needs improvement.
Great position, lobby and reception staff lovely.
Comfy beds, good aircon, functional big bathroom with good towels and shower pressure A1.
Simple quick check in and easy, secure parking.
Difficulty connecting tv for streaming.
User portal for hotel glitchy, frustrating to navigate.
If you have a coffee pod machine, I expect a couple of pods to use.
We have become accustomed to a microwave in even 2 star motels so was surprised not to find one in our room.
Had to keep our tv volume very low( barely audible from the bed) because it disturbed our neighbours.
The bed was so comfortable and half hr drive from everything the view even from the first floor was nice
No microwave in the room
Everything was quick and easy e.g check in and out
Cleanliness, tv was not user friendly, didnt look like the photos
Staff are very helpful
Place are close to public transport.
Room are not 100% clean,
Balcony are dirty.
On Saturday music was very loud which continued almost until midnight, which was extremely disturbing for sleeping, have to wait for a few hours to go to sleep, I contacted reception staff, they attended my phone 1st time and informed me that music will stop by 11PM, but it still continued, I rang to check about the end timing for music, no one attended the phone, which was extremely disappointing
Very friendly helpful staff
Lift out of order but guess this happens
Very run down furnishings
Clean, comfortable, excellent service, all staff very friendly and efficient customer service, great location. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike.
Have booked multiple times at The Terrace, It is a lovely hotel
Booked 2 Family rooms with the request of having a joining internal door so our families could mingle. Called two weeks prior to arrival to confirm and staff member at the time confirmed that YES there would be 2 rooms side by side with an internal joining door.
Then I received a call on the day of arrival confirming that two rooms had been booked, I asked to confirm above request in which the response I received was 'we cannot do that', after futher discussions with the staff member, they confirmed the rooms would in fact be connecting.
When we arrived we were given our keys, headed upstairs to find the rooms, while yes were side by side. They didnt have the inter connecting door. After conversation with front of house admin, it was pretty much `sorry the room that was interconnecting checked in earlier then you so we cannot accommodate your request'
I love the terrace, I am hoping it was just a once off of miscommunication and poor form as I have been here multiple times and have never been able to fault them.
