Cons:

Frühstücksraum sehr beengt, alternativ kann aber auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt werden

Pros:

We vonden het fijn dat je buiten kon ontbijten. Het ontbijt was ook zeer verzorgd en lekker. Al het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Cons:

Er was weinig voorzien om extra op te bergen, bvb leglades, kapstok of stoel voor kleding. Ook zouden er meer gewone kapstokken mogen in de kast zijn.
Het tweepersoonsbed was smal voor als je geen koppel bent.

המיקום נוח מאוד ממש במרכז העיר במרחק הליכה מהכל. אנחנו השתמשנו בחניה של המלון וזה היה נוח מאוד. הצוות ידידותי מאוד ונעים, עזרו לנו ונהנו המלצות מכל הלב

Cons:

החדר שאנחנו ישנו בו היה קטן ולא מתאים לשהיה עם מזוודות גדולות, הקירות דקים ושומעים מה שקורה בחדרים ליד למי שזה מפריע לו. הנקיון דרוש שיפור, לא היה נעים ללכת יחפים בחדר ועל הארוניות היה אבק. יש ריח לא נעים במסדרון שמוביל לחדרים נראה שצריך לדאוג שם לאוורור.

We loved Hôtel Alexandra! The room was lovely, well maintained, beautifully decorated and also air-conditioned, which was perfect for the excessive heat of the summer! We had breakfast on the terrace and it was idyllic. A great choice of food too! The staff were very helpful when we asked if we could leave our luggage after we'd checked out l.

Charming hotel in the middle of Presque Ile, Lyon
Pros:

It is a very nice breakfast with lots of options. The staff was very helpful making restaurant reservations . Charming patio to use for breakfast or relaxing. Great location on a pedestrian street and close to many restaurants . We will stay here again!

Great Location, Safe, and Clean Stay
Pros:

As a first-time visitor to Lyon, I can honestly say that the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Everything is within walking distance: Place Bellecour, shopping streets, great restaurants, and lively spots where you can enjoy a beer in the evening. The hotel is located on Rue Victor Hugo, which feels like the very heart of the city. It is also in a safe area, making it perfect for exploring on foot. We loved being able to enjoy dinner and drinks nearby and then simply walk back to the hotel.

We also learned during our stay that the hotel is Michelin-starred, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They were happy to share recommendations and useful information about the city. Upon check-in, guests are given reusable water bottles and encouraged to refill them from the drinking water station in the lobby, which is a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch.

The hotel itself was spotless and very quiet. While the rooms are not particularly spacious, we found them more than adequate for our needs. The bathroom was also very clean and well maintained.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lyon.

Cons:

If I had to mention one minor improvement, it would be the availability of disposable hotel slippers in the room.
