Great location, views from ocean rooms stunning, big rooms, breakfast buffet needs looking though

The views and location are ok, but my overall experience was very disappointing. I accidentally left my prescription sunglasses in the lobby restroom and realized it within just a few minutes. When I went back, they were already gone and were never recovered, despite reporting it immediately.

I understand the hotel isn't responsible for guests' belongings, but it's shocking that an item could disappear so quickly in a public area. This incident completely overshadowed my stay and left me with a very negative impression of the hotel. I hope the hotel can review its lost property procedures and, if possible, improve monitoring of public areas to help prevent similar situations in the future.

Reef View is a solid well established high rise building/resort, nothing fancy but adequate.
Pros:

we had a nice view from the room, it is a great location like the other hotels on that side of the island, or the bungalows, they are all bunched together. Reef View is the standard resort, no bells and whistles, obviously been there for decades doing the same thing.....buffet breakfast, bar downstairs, tennis courts, .....nice view, outloook is impressive.

Cons:

it was rammed busy for our stay. School holidays July 2026. Loads of kids. Everything was fully booked, including the golf course, restaurants, golf buggies etc.....so we couldnt really explore or do much other than spend $$$
