The Reef View Hotel is not a four-star hotel. I’ll start with the positives: the view from the room is absolutely amazin
Pros:

The view from the room is absolutely amazing, and the rooms are very spacious.

Cons:

The rooms are dated, worn, and have a strong damp smell and the WiFi did not work in our room.

Pros:

was very nice ocean view from our room from 13th floor which we paid extra for
very nice pool n spa available

Cons:

not even a bottle water was complimentary
room service just fixed beds no change of sheets until I asked on 4th day
floors didnt get vaccumed until I asked
overall for the price I paid was expecting a little better / more
pool area looks very dated
bathroom very weird set up , no hooks even to hang used towel for 3 adults sharing
no mirror in bedroom area to get ready if someone using bathroom

I was impressed with the hotel and would stay again. I’m assuming the hot water issue will be resolved as I am aware tha

The location was excellent, the rooms spacious, looked amazing and the view was breathtaking.
The services were extremely efficient and well run.
The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and efficient.

Cons:

My room (412) smelled musty/mouldy/damp and I had to leave the doors open to try to air it out as the smell was quite overwhelming. The hot water pipes basically screamed when turned on which meant any time the room next door used the hot water I was woken up and I’m sure they experienced it too.
My initial check in was not great as the person who checked me in gave me the impression I was irritating her by being there. I wasn’t asking questions or being rude in any way, i only asked her to repeat what she had shown me on the map as she had said it so quickly in a way to rush me through that I could not understand her, I figured she was having a bad day and super busy. The lady who checked me out was amazing and extremely friendly.

Pros:

Great mattress. Double basin in bathroom so didn’t have to share with hubby. Lovely view. Foxtel. Dbl wardrobes.

Pros:

Nothing the room was too expensive for wat I got .1300.00 for two bites with a supposed sea view which was obscured by palm trees. No breakfast and the curtains were all scrounged and uneven. Expect more than that for the money I paid.

Very disappointed.
