Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were friendly, housekeeping were great.
Pros:

We’ve stayed at the Reef a few times in the past and from memory breakfast was outstanding. Regrettably that’s not the case now, including beverages. I understand kids eat free however that obviously impacts the options available and freshness of produce. It’s not the cost, it’s the delivery with our family. With such outstanding location and views, families with children staying at the Reef deserve more options. Something I believe was available in the past but lacking now.

Cons:

The lift service was poor at all times during our stay, with two of the lifts out of service majority of our stay.

We liked the shuttle buses, especially the green bus, however wish there were private taxi services on offer we could call upon at any time.

We really enjoyed our time at this resort and would still recommend it to other families.
Pros:

Location and facilities were great. The kids buffet dinner was a fantastic addition.

Cons:

We weren’t expecting the need to pre-book dining every day. But on a good note the island does have some delivery options.

Great location with stunning views
Pros:

Great central location on the island. Loved having the use of all the resort pools, gym and tennis courts as well as the water activities. Lots to do close by for the family. Awesome breakfast; even though the queues were long at peak times, the waits were always relatively quick. Unbeatable views from the room and lifts.

Cons:

The hotel is a little old and tired, but still clean and well maintained, couldn't fault anything in our room just a little dated, but this was made up for by the great view! Two of the lifts were out of order during our stay, which did make wait times getting to and from the room a little longer but still manageable.

Pros:

The room and the view was stunning. The hotel is clean and the amenities are wonderful.

Cons:

You pretty much have to have a plan for food all the time because everything is reservations. So if you dont know what time you will get back from tours it can be tricky to plan ahead.

Pros:

Friendly staff, location, facilities, pools, views, tours, beaches. Was a great trip away and will definitely be back.

Cons:

While our bed was made the sheets weren't changed at all during the 4 nights, so we had to keep wiping sand off. The bed could also do with new pillows as the ones we had were pretty flat and worn out.
Cocktails, particularly by the pool, were not great and very pricey.

Pros:

Beautiful locton. Nice reception staff, warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Theyhave provide housekeeping everyday.but they didn't change the linens. When you.pay over $500 per night you expected top service. They even didn't vacuum the room at all. I have made complaints still next day was the.same.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. It was very easy, comfortable and pleasant.
Pros:

Very spacious rooms, both with fantastic views and comfortable and sunny balcony. TV was good. Location is excellent, so can walk everywhere very easily.

Cons:

The lifts were very slow as one or more would always be out of order. Breakfast was very expensive for a family. The fridge didn't get replenished during our stay and the cleaners took away our provided cereal bowls, left a half filled coffee cup for a few days and didn't clean/replace.
