Spectacular view from our room on the 19th floor

Overall it was a nice experience - convenient central location and broad range of facilities for all

Family Room Suite arrangement was perfect for our family.
Bathrooms were large and spacious
Balcony and view was decent
Staff were very attentive, approachable and friendly
Buffet breakfast was fantastic, great range and fresh

Cons:

We stayed on level 4. One of the rooms was next to the lifts and it was quite noisy. Also noise/music from downstairs bar could be heard in the evening
Bathroom tapware was very inconveniently placed right in the corner of the basin
Fridge was not functioning and things put in froze!
Daily cleaning was sub optimal - just changed towels, made up bed and cleared bins. No attempt to clean, mop or vacuum floors,
Turnover at buffet breakfast was slow. People lining up, but there were tables available inside

Also staff were friendly and attentive.

Cons:

Rooms' conditions which they were not clean. One of the rooms (1402) had damp smell throughout.

Amazing, would come back
Pros:

The location is very centralised. Close to the buggy hire, close to the marina and have both blue and green shuttle bus available.

They have arrival/departure lounge to put stuff in a safe locker while waiting for checkin. The room is really clean.

The view is amazing and literally smack-bang in the middle of the Catseye beach. I reckon this hotel has the best view of the island.

I really appreciate how they give complimentary bubbles as I checked into my hotel room on my birthday week.

Cons:

I wonder if the hotel corridor interior could be upscale to a more premium level to match the quality of the rooms.

Cons:

We had breakfast in the hotel ONE morning only. It was disgusting in lieu of the cost. The sausages were inedible as was the bacon. All the supposed hot food was luke warm. No choice of milk and small cerial choice. Very disappointing and placed a black mark on an otherwise good stay

The hotel is very good, however I couldn't cope with the noise and destruction of the white cockatoo

The hotel is great I really like it parking the buggy out the front is awesome.

Upon entering my room, I was overcome by an immediate smell of mouldy aircon which was actually very strong almost hard to sleep actually.
Also you cannot put the air conditioner onto heat, I don't care if it Hamilton Island and you're in the whitundays...... I was freezing!

We went and had dinner at the reef view... pool terrace restaurant. we sat down and I told my partner forget the prices, lets just enjoy a lovely meal here.

I ordered the grilled prawns and my partner ordered scotch fillet steak

And as soon as the prawns arrived they smelt very fishy to the fact where we couldn't even eat them, one and a half to be exact. out of a total of four prawns for $30 oh we also got some diced onion and a half decent salad.

My partner ordered the Scotch fillet steak which came with potato gratin, it was the size of a Scotch finger biscuit, it wasn't even real Potato by the taste of it she said, and she barely ate a quarter,
And her medium rare steak was medium to well done.
All she had was a butter knife for 50% of the time until someone noticed thankfully, well done that guy.👍

The steak came also covered with a massive mushroom the size of our hotel room almost, it had weird flavors like honey and I couldn't tell you what else but it was completely masking the flavour of all the great ingredients.
The mushroom was placed as if it was hiding it the bad cut of meat,
because it was just a bunch of grizzle and fat underneath.

I'm not sure what is going on in the kitchen but it is Gordon Ramsays worst nightmare, in the kitchen those chefs need some back to basics training and taste their food before it comes out.

Oh damn sorry guys we did stay the night and had a break buffet.
Well. Im not sure to even continue. But as above hahaha .
