Pros:

About 5-10 minutes walk from Ikebukuro station. Lots of food and shopping within the vicinity. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room we had for 3 pax was basically a 2-pax room with an extra bed, making the room extremely cramped. We couldn't all open our luggage otherwise there would be no place to walk.

Pros:

池袋駅東口北出口から徒歩5分程度で、とても近くわかりやすかった。
チェックインの日は川越に行くために乗り換えのタイミングで荷物を預けに行ったが、快く応じてくださり安心して荷物を預けることが出来た。またチェックイン時の無料のrefreshmentやコーヒーの提供はとても嬉しかったので今後も続けて欲しいと思う。部屋はとてもきれいで、また思ったより広く、ベッドもちょうどいい硬さだった。また機会があれば泊まりたいと思う。

Cons:

Booking.comで大人一人、子供12歳、10歳でツインルームを予約し朝食付きにしたが、朝食が大人一人分しかついておらず宿とBooking.comとの相違があったので困惑した。朝食付きを予約する際には宿に確認をした方が良いです。ただ、部屋には歯ブラシや寝巻きは2セットずつあった。

良かったです！
Pros:

ロビーや客室はとても清潔感があり気持ちよかったです。
ウェルカムお菓子が、この日はおはぎだったのですが、とても美味しかったです！！
駅からも近くて便利でした。アメニティも施設も充実していて良かったです。

Cons:

朝食時、お皿やコップがやや綺麗ではなかったです。もう少し綺麗だと気持ち良かったです。牛乳がもう少し美味しいといいなと思いました！

Nice hotel but noisy
Pros:

I got a corner room which had a very long layout. I was travelling alone and I can't imagine 2 people with 2 open suitcases still having sufficient space to move around.

Breakfast is VERY good. A nice spread with a few Western items, a few Japanese items, couple of breads, selection of fruit/veg to make your own salad, and my favourite - steamed vegetables (eggplant, pumpkin etc). Being diabetic I appreciated the variety of fibre- and protein-heavy items. The restaurant serves pretty good Italian for dinner and I'd recommend making a reservation as it can get pretty crowded.

Cons:

This hotel seems to be very popular with tourists and tour groups who like to congregate in the lobby and talk very loudly for hours on end. They also talk so loudly in the laundry room that I could hear it all the way in my room (which was at the other end of that same corridor). The room doors are not soundproof at all and you can hear everything from the corridor. If you're looking for R&R on your trip, this hotel is probably not for you.

As many people have mentioned, the air-conditioning is centrally controlled. My first night was during a cold spell in May and I was absolutely freezing, which I guess is better than sweating in winter.
