Won't stay there again
Pros:

Bed was good. The curtains worked well. It was quiet for most of the night, so I sleep well, but (see below)

Cons:

The shower was unusable: unable to change the temperature from scalding hot.
The website gave the impression of a selection of breakfast options but there was no option, just a box with cornflakes, milk, oat bar and pain o chocolate.
As it neighboured onto the services, at 5am they started making noise from moving trolleys and other things that interrupted my sleep.

There’s a young lady who works at reception desk she is brilliant great customer service
She was there to give us our keycard Friday night

Pros:

I would gladly stay again.
Pros:

Staff very helpful and attentive. Clean room. All facilities worked excellently.

Cons:

I think the mattress would benefit from swapping head to toe, as my feet were higher than my head.

Won’t be staying again
Pros:

The property is in need of up dating but still functional

Cons:

The cleanliness. The bedding was clean. The walls filthy and there were black marks ( ground in )all over the shower. I booked the room for two but only had one set of towels. Which was good because I only used it as I really needed a shower. However my wife refused to due to it. The air con didn’t work but fans were provided. ( very noisy so didn’t use ) if we had used them it would have drowned out the noise from the washing machines that were going all night. Wish I had taken photos to prove the dirtiness.

Convenient location for travelling on the A1 and good value for those travelling on a budget.
Pros:

On one of the hottest days of the year - not only was the aircon already on - but they had a large electric fan running all day before we got there. So the room was an extremely comfortable temperature all evening and night.

Apart from that - the hotel is very convenient for travelling on the A1 and good facilities considering the price. Plus a nice powerful shower.

Very good value for money and helpful, friendly staff.

Very good value without too many extras.
Pros:

Location. Familiarity . Free parking. Proximity to eating facilities. Good size room and comfortable bed. Staff as always very polite and helpful.Good value.

Over 20 years I have enjoyed using the hotel. A number of days before I times hsd the same situation and I was checked
Cons:

Member of staff Jay who half an hour before check in at 1500 with the room ready I had to pay 15 £ when I am a regular client.
