Overall I do like to stay here just wish I felt better about the value.
Pros:

I love the location, the hotel and room updates were very nice. I love the convenience of the parking. It’s just a little pricey….not even a cup of coffee in the lobby for guests.

Cons:

Seems a tad pricey.

The woman who checked me in was wonderful. My drive from San Diego went faster than anticipated so I arrived before check in and she worked to get me my room early.

We have stayed at this location several times since moving out o California, clean, comfortable.
Pros:

There was an issue with the water temp in the shower. It went from cold to hot several times during our showers. I mentioned this to the hotel staff when we were checking out.

Cons:

Water temp for the showers. Softer towels would be nice.

Pros:

This was a business trip and this facility was choosen for location and value (I pay my own business expenses). Only after I booked and paid for the stay did I get an email from Marriottt telling me the place was under full renovation and there would be an early departure charge of "one night's room & applicable taxes applied". When I finished my business I found I could leave a day early and avoid some winter driving weather. Marriott's on-site staff worked to provided a refund on the cancelled night - It was their effots that keeps this review as high as it is.

Cons:

I didn't like Marriott's late notification of construction and their "Gotcha" Early Departure Charges. Also, lack of contractor managment of on-site workers and work. For example there was the daily annoyance of finding the ever changing and poorly marked way into the hotel lobby from $15/day parking across the street.

Marriott wasn't up-front about the construction and made no pre-stay acknowledgement that full service should be expected. Normal add-on charges and conditions of stay should have have be adjusted during construction. I take that as a clear signal that they don't care about my future business.

By the way, I paid a ~$4 room charge for small travel cup of coffee in the lobby on the way out the door.

We came for the pool and it was still closed. didn't like that it was still under contsrtucion and wish they had notified us sooner.
