Pros:

The staff were excellent. Very helpful, full of smiles, very courteous, smartly dressed and ready to help. Food was very tasteful and nice quantity. The housekeeping staff worked extremely hard yo perfection 👌 The door staff when you enter the hotel and front desk staff were very kind, pleasant and welcoming. All together a great experience. Thank you. I hope they all get better paid for everything they do. Salaries are extremely low which us such a shame when the owners are making hundreds of thousands of rupees daily.

Cons:

What was disappointing was the roads to the hotel, they were littered with garbage. While I was staying there the Minister of Travel and Tourism arrived but he too was not interested in Kerala except for how many tourist were arriving ftom abroad. When is the infrastructure or cleanliness of the city going to be improved. The roads were littered with left over building material, no payments to walk on for pedestrians and little with filthy garbage. The tourist spots all smelled because the drains were blocked and road with dirty garbage. None of this is noticed by the minister or the owners of the hotels. All they were concerned was how many tourist were coming. They should also stop paying staff so badly, its almost slave labour. Rs 2000 for a trainee for a month, that is peanuts. Even a monkey won't swing for that. Shameful.
