Charming Hotel in Great Location - Highly Recommend
Pros:

Wonderful hotel in great location right near the market. Great location as close enough to Marienplatz, shopping, metro etc... yet a few blocks away from all the crowds. Lovely lobby, great bar to get a drink and light dinner. Very nice room with couch and chair, nice bathroom with tub and shower, very comfortable bed. Room had a balcony overlooking the market with the Alps in the distance! Very friendly, helpful staff. Highly Recommend!

Wonderful stay at Sorel hotel
Pros:

The hotel is comfortably located close to places of interest, train station, lake Zurich pier, restaurants and shops. It's clean, quiet, has spacious rooms, comfy beds, wonderful breakfast. Staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Ein schöner 4 Tage Aufenthalt in München mit einem seht guten Frühstück das serviert wurde
Pros:

Großes Zimmer mit französischen Balkon um Viktualienmarkt .
Frühstück auf den ersten Moment fraglich.
Es lag eine Übersicht für die gewünschten Bestellungen zur Verfügung.
Ab dem 2.Tag konnte man das Frühstück richtig genießen.
Tolle Gerichte wurden serviert. Das Personal war höflich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Beim Einchecken wurde wurde außer dem vereinbarten Preis für 4 Tage je € 100,00 gleich € 400,00
als Sicherheit ?!? berechnet und mit der Kreditkarte belastet.
Heute habe ich nachgefragt und mir wurde gesagt, daß die Rücküberweisung erfolgt.
Da bei der Zimmerbestätigung über Bocking com was das kein Thema.
Ich war über 40 Jahre im Außendient in Deutschland und in einigen Länder Europa.
Das war das erste Mal.

The hotel was clean, but unfortunately that’s about the only positive thing we can say.

We asked for a late check-out and ended up being charged extra for just 40 additional minutes while trying to leave the room — something that felt extremely unreasonable for a hotel of this level. To make it worse, housekeeping kept knocking on the door every 10 minutes the entire time, making the departure process unnecessarily stressful.

The reception experience was also disappointing. Vanessa (if we understood her name correctly, since the staff don’t wear name tags) was extremely unwelcoming and far from hospitable. Overall, the service felt cold and very far from guest-oriented.

The only practical advantage was the free parking, although it’s still around a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
