Dog friendly. Great grass area off the room for our dog. Located on the racetrack. Short drive into town.
No heaters on the outdoor terrace and it was too cold to sit outside with our dog. However, the Manager did let us sit inside to eat our dinner, which we appreciated.
I liked that my room had a spa bath; and that the bed was comfortable.
Well the first night I was there I was put in a room full of bugs flying around, on the bed, attacking me. They were coming from the lights, bathroom, and all over the bed and me to the point I tried to put up with it (cause I had uni the next day).
By 1AM; I had enough and had to leave my room to go to another room. I wasn’t compensated for it. And no one seemed to care besides one lady.
I was told the manager could compensate and I was never contacted… or told anything further.
I have attached the photos.
My other room also had a little bit of bugs but wasn’t enough to have to move again.
The views
The heated pool isn’t all year round, the restuarant doesn’t have 24/7 room service even basic stuff.
Breakfast was good but service a little slow. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean

Rooms were clean, has everything you need in your stay, nice and close to the track view, atmosphere was amazing, Pet friendly rooms are perfect, just great loved every bit of our stay.
Pet friendly for starters. I could even take my greyhound down to the Chicane Cafe to get my coffee in the morning. (He did the lift well)
The staff were fantastic. Especially Sussanne one of the perpetually helpful cleaning staff who happily kept stopping to help me with my many bits and pieces. Reception staff were so helpful with any enquiries.
I fulfilled a little dream of doing the Mt Panorama loop walk with my greyhound. We saw the albino wallaby sitting in the R of the Mt Panorama hillside sign. I even kept my greyhound to under 60kms along Conrod Straight. 😄 🤣
Really enjoyed my stay.
The only reason I gave 9/10 was room service firgot our side order on Saturday night. Although it did get to us it was later. They were very busy though so just a little blip because food was yummo.
Loved the location
$300 a night and one night the restaurant wasn't open. It would have been good if notice had been given.
