Peaceful resort, would look forward to return
Pros:

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Rustic and natural style while still feeling luxurious. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Thanks especially to the lovely staff in the Nest coffee shop each morning.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with everything, from the smallest requests to the biggest ones. Their service truly went above and beyond.

The resort is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the pool bar, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options.

I highly recommend booking the island-hopping tour with Michael. He is an excellent guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience unforgettable.

Highly recommended!

Cons:

The only downside was that insects and centipedes occasionally got into our room, which made us think it might not be completely sealed. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Pros:

Great room, beautiful surroundings and location (although the beach is not "dreamy"), the pool is nice and big. The breakfast was also nice, with a lot of variety. There are a couple of very nice local restaurants 10 min walk.

Cons:

The resort is located in nature, which is amazing, but there are quite loud bugs (I got woken up each morning at 5). The food at the restaurants is not great and overpriced (as an example, the same salad came with a nice grilled chicken first time, second time with a some-what boiled cold chicken). My 3-years old was given spoiled fresh milk (I tasted it myself) by accident. The pool bar happy hour became quite popular at some point, and they cancelled it.

Pros:

The location is spectacular. We went in July and we were able to spend hours on the beach with almost no other people. The room was lovely, the staff were very helpful, the activities and days out were very well organised. Truly unforgettable!

An absolutely amazing place!

Staying here truly felt like being in paradise. The rooms are beautifully surrounded by lush tropical trees, giving you the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. Every single detail of the hotel is thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained.

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The private beach was breathtaking, and at times it felt like we had it all to ourselves. The food was also excellent, with everything we tried being delicious.

In short, everything was perfect. We honestly couldn’t find a single flaw during our stay. Koh Yao Yai is a peaceful island with friendly local people, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect.

We highly recommend this hotel and the island to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience.

An idyllic paradise on a quiet Thai island
Pros:

Beautifully designed rooms with so much privacy and so much attention to detail. Hugely comfortable bed. The whole hotel feels so tranquil and the staff are all completely charming and cannot do enough. A perfect hideaway for a couple of days.

The best thing about this hotel is the eco friendly way it has been created to match the surroundings. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally spacious. All staff have been very welcoming and the communication from the hotel prior to our arrive made our journey there easy. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Personál byl extrémně vstřícný, snídaně špičkové, jediná malá nevýhoda jsou velké slapové jevy a moře není vhodné k plavání, ale hotel zajišťuje dopravu zdarma na Laem haad beach dvakrát denně. Villa s vlastním bazénem byla naprosto bombastická. Ideální místo k odpočinku, žádný velký noční život.
