It was fair
I couldn’t find the dishes. Some were still in the dish washer, and found dirty towels and trash in a drawer
Clean place and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Staff were friendly, especially the manager and room was clean. The hotel isn’t “modern” compared to some of the other hotels but worth the price.

I liked that it was very close to Lackland Air Force base. The staff was very nice.
I didn’t like that on the website it stated that I could not bring along my pet as well as it saying no WiFi. Despite it having WiFi and pet friendly. Caused me to lose $200.

Ideal location for those wanting to be near a site attraction (Sea World). The hotel offers a shuttle to/from the park. That was not our purpose of staying here. We were moving to San Antonio and the staff told us there was parking that would suit my vehicle with a trailer. Well, when we arrived there was not parking to fit my trailer. So we had to, more or less, illegally park in unmarked area. Parking was limitd because if you did not arrive befoe the evening the entire parking lot was taken up by guests and construction workers. Also, you had to be careful because the hotel's "questionnable" security guard was rather creepy. As you would walk to the entrance, at night, he would follow you in th van as he pretends to secure the facility.
The rooms were just ok. They were old and needed renovating. It smelled muggy. Now, our room was FREEZING! It was about 65 degrees our entire two week stay. We did not want to say anything because we were afraid of he opposite happening and it would be hot. Our room need some TLC. The shower had very low water pressure. The maintenance team swapped out the shower head but it was very little improvement. The door to our room did not close. You had to pull the door close to ensure it closed properly. Apparently, staying here reminded guests of being in New York. Guests would throw they trash bags in the hallway and sometimes would not look before throwing because a couple bags almost hit us.
The hotel amenities were pretty good. The pool was a great way to coo down. They had a grill you could use. The breakfast was not bad either. They had a "Happy Hour" type event in the evening that consisted of beer and wine and small apps. Plus, they have a couple big screens to watch the games.
I would say if you are looking for an affordable hotel and limited expectations then this is your place. Otherwise, if I had to do it over again, we would have stayed somewhere else.

Loved everything
It was very clean. When we needed anything, it was done pretty quickly. The breakfast was good hot and fresh every morning and the social hours were just the icing on the cake. The manager was such a friendly person. Loved him.
Nothing! It was great 10/10 would it again. I didn’t even want to leave. We will forever pick staybridge to stay from now on!!!
