As per the norm there was a lot of construction surrounding and even at the resort
Laundry service was unavailable
We were not able to borrow a blow up ball to play with in the pool - only for the kids activities which were not happening that day

The hotel is beautiful, the food is good and the staff is very friendly
I didn't like the fact that I had to continously ask for toilet paper and water. In most days there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in a family room with 4 people and there was 4 bottles of water 500ml in that scotching heat. If a person has to drink a minimum of 2.5L a day, then we were supposed to have more that the bottles given to us. What also irritated me is when housekeeping gave us only one bath towel, I asked reception and they said they hotel is fully booked and they're running out of towels!! How the hell is that my problem, I paid for the stay & I expect them to solve their problems, it's none of my business that they're failing to manage themselves. Why on earth was my room not filled with towels, is it because I'm black, i really hated this action from them!!!

Facilities were outdated, room out dated.
Staff where really helpful and spoke well in english.
The shower head in my room was broken but i managed with it.

Las camas y almohadas eran duras, nada cómodo. Había una pendiente alta para llegar caminando al hotel, por si quieres ir caminando a la playa que está cerca.

Ubicación. Indicaban en la reseña que está frente al mar primera línea… sin embargo está en una colina y a lejos se ve el mar desde la habitación 😕

Our stay at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa was truly enjoyable and relaxing. It was the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and feel like you are really on holiday.
The resort itself is very nice, with a calm and comfortable environment. The room was clean, spacious, and well prepared for us. We really appreciated the little details that made the stay feel easy and pleasant. The pool area was also a great place to relax, and the overall facilities were well maintained.
What stood out the most during our stay was the service. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful, but I would especially like to mention Bam. Bam was amazing — very kind, professional, and always greeted us with a genuine smile.
