Location, comfort and great service
Pros:

This hotel location could hardly be better. The hotel starts from the 5th floor of the building, directly facing one of the entrances to the famous Ximending pedestrian area, which is also where the hotel gets its name from.

The location is excellent. Besides being right next to Ximending, several MRT stations are within a short 3–7 minute walk, and both Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and 228 Peace Memorial Park can be reached on foot in around 20–30 minutes.

The room itself was spacious, practical, and felt very new and well maintained. The bed was wide and comfortable, the bathroom felt luxurious, and the shower was excellent. The room included strong air conditioning, a safe, hair dryer, and stable, fairly fast Wi-Fi. We stayed on the 8th floor and had a nice quiet room despite the lively area downstairs. Like almost everywhere in Taiwan, each floor also has a water station with filtered cold, room-temperature, and boiling water.

The service was very typically Taiwanese: polite, efficient, and genuinely friendly.

The lobby floor has a large common area for guests, with comfortable sofas, tables, and seating areas spread around the space. Complimentary snacks, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day, which was a very nice touch.

Breakfast is also served in the lobby area. It is mostly Asian-style, and personally, despite really enjoying Asian food, I do not fully connect with the idea of eating what feels like lunch early in the morning. My wife actually liked it a lot and spoke very positively about the breakfast. For guests like me, there were still enough simpler options like bread, butter, eggs, and salads, all perfectly fine.

As far as I know, the hotel does not offer parking. Honestly, bringing a car into Taipei is probably not a great idea anyway, especially since the city’s public transportation system is incredibly accessible, efficient, and surprisingly affordable

Pros:

地下街X5出口有電梯，一分鐘內到飯店。
房間寬敞舒適整潔，人員應對得體。
早餐項目不多但都十分美味，水果優格裡面不是果醬甚至是大顆新鮮藍莓，有晶華操刀就是不一樣。

窗簾緊閉還是會從縫隙漏光
房門放手關會發出巨響，一定要手持慢慢關上

Emplacement Idéal pour découvrir la ville, personnel au top et chambres parfaites
Pros:

emplacement parfait pour visiter Taipei . Quartier animé de Ximen de l'autre côté de l'avenue. La gare est à 5 minutes en taxi . Le métro est à 10 mètres. Hôtel très calme . Le petit déjeuner est parfait.
possibilité de boire un thé ou un café l'après midi à volonté avec des petits gâteaux.
L'accueil est excellent avec possibilité de laisser ses bagages .
J' y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour à Taipei

Near to Ximening market. MRT station just outside the hotel. Lively area with lots of small eateries. 7eleven store just next to hotel.

Cons:

Need to catch lift to level5 hotel lobby. Hotel lobby quite dark. Room is small even for a 3 bedder. Aircon is not cold
