We enjoyed the location , the extra large bed and staff were great.
Pros:

Expansive reception area.

Charming stay in a grand hotel, with allowances made.
Pros:

The design of the hotel is great, it has a really impressive and grand entrance with symmetrical grand stairs to first floor, and a really beautiful grand ballroom with fish and a water feature including a little bridge.

Cons:

The hotel is great and I loved it but it has started to take on a little element of old fashioned charm. It seems a little past it's heyday and although everything was spotlessly clean, just seems a little sad in places and needs a makeover and a make-up.

I liked the design of the room, and the decor, but our apartment kitchen did not have cooking utensils and the range didn't work. This was fine for us but sort of represents the status of the hotel.

I'd love to return again in a few years and find that it keeps its grand charm but has had a new lease of life.
