Pros:

Breakfast ok. Clean verywhere. Staff friendly enough.

Cons:

Beds very tatty, divan peeling. Would benefit from a divan skirt. Pillows are awful.
Pool water cold but jacuzzi nice and warm.
The room opposite kept slamming door, shouting, coming and going until about 2 am.

Very good stay at a nice place, but quite expensive when there.
Pros:

The room was lovely, the spa area and bars were all really nice

Only gripe would be the fact that there is a shooting range close by that starts quite early in the morning.

Comfortable and almost perfect. Let down only by staff not intervening to give alternatives suitable for my dietary need

Very spacious and comfortable. Staff all excellent and obviously well trained and motivated.

Cons:

Had problems with the pub restaurant and with breakfast as I am unable to have gluten and rapeseed oil. There were some gf and gfa options but one gfa option I chose I was told included gluten. I managed to have a salad in the evening as the chef amended the standard dish and made a different dressing. However, I wasn’t given the opportunity of discussing my options, so it was a case of me choosing options, the waitress asking the chef and then being told no. Breakfast, I had the option of cereal and fruit, the only item on the buffet I could safely choose was grilled tomatoes. I asked about the fried eggs, which were the only ones on the table, but was told they were fried in rapeseed oil… no alternative was offered. I then saw a sign on the table that said I could have boiled or scrambled egg and I went back to the waitress who said she would ask the chef and asked where I was sitting. I told her and had scrambled egg delivered.

My point is that if the staff had been more proactive in offering me choices, I would be rating the service 10/10 and my confidence and experience would have been much better.
