What a nice stay! From the warm welcome when we arrived, over playing chess during the apero, enjoying the fantastic (and quiet) pool during the day, lovely (large) rooms with lots of facilities, friendly service at all times until a marvelous breakfast (in or outdoors). When entering the hotel you feel the old vibes but with all the comfort and service of a modern hotel. A special thank you to the hotel manager who arranged (and joined us!!) to a nearby hospital (Rajavej Chiang Mai hospital - if you ever need medical support... modern hospital, great service) for a small medical checkup of an insect bite from our zipline adventure in the mountains above Chiang Mai.

This is a gem of A hotel. Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectation. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was wholesome and a good quality with smoke, salmon, sausage. Lots of fruit. Very good coffee,. The were very attentive. Gluten free option were available

Not quite the 5star stay I expected. The hotel has undeniable charm and story. It could be cleaner. Staff could be more

Lovely building, nice pool.
Breakfast was simple but omelette was tasty.
Some staff was very caring and alert.

Cons:

Cleanliness could be better. There was hair on the bathroom walls and had to ask twice to get the bathroom washed. The cleaning staff was apologetic, and cleaned the wall with dry cloth.
