A disappointment

The new room was lovely but see issues below.

Cons:

The new room was lovely but had obviously not been checked before it had its first occupants, us. The bedside lights didn't work, the door deadbolt was faulty, the rear of the shower head wasn't sealed correctly and was squirting the ceiling. The fridge still had some packaging on it and the aircon unit. The sink plug didn't engage and seal.
We weren't told we were staying in a building site. The place was a mess and every lift we took we were sharing with construction workers and equipment moving from floor to floor.
Constant banging while they were working.
The horrific noise from I95 kept us awake why doesn't it have secondary glazing.
Breakfast was like being in a school canteen with rows of tables. Food was good though.
Sadly we were disappointed overall.

Terrible experience and not worth of my money

I wanted to share my disappointment with my two-day stay, as the overall experience was far below what I expected, especially considering I paid around $300.

There was constant construction and hammering throughout the stay, which made it extremely difficult to relax or sleep properly. I was traveling with my older family members, and their sleep was repeatedly disturbed by the noise. Had we been informed in advance that significant construction was taking place at the property, we likely would not have proceeded with the booking.

In addition, the water was shut off during the first day, leaving us unable to properly use the bathroom or even flush the toilet. There were also repeated water-related issues during the stay, which caused significant inconvenience.

Our room also did not have a microwave, while we noticed that other rooms appeared to have one available.

Between the construction noise, disrupted sleep, lack of reliable water, and missing basic amenities, the stay was extremely uncomfortable and did not feel worth the amount I paid. I would appreciate Hyatt reviewing this experience and providing an appropriate resolution or compensation for the inconvenience caused.

The renovation is so extreme that the hotel should be closed during this event. Staff even said so.
