Pros:

The grounds look nice. Close to the airport. Highlight was the cat on the bar

Cons:

The most unwelcoming staff we came across in korea, couldn't use the facilities because we have tattoos, drinks weren't for westerners taste, way too sweet and staff unsure of ingredients in drinks even with translation apps. We didn't eat here so can't review the food

담배냄새, 밤샘 소음, 내돈내산 좁은 방 배정 최악 중의 최악의 오성급 호텔
Pros:

1. 쿠폰 쓴 것도 아니고 할인 받은 것도 아닌데 슈페리얼 더블룸 중 제일 좁은 건물 꺾인 부분에 있는 513호를 배정함.
2. 생일 축하 메시지 한장 프린트 해 줄 수 있냐 물었는데 거부함.
3. 복도에서부터 담배 냄새 남. 방에 들어가도 담배 냄새가 간간히 흘러 들어옴.
4. 방음이 최악인 수준이라 같은 오성급은 물론이고 4성급과 비교해도 최악의 소음을 경험할 수 있음. 다른 방 문 닫는 소리는 그렇다 치더라도 다른 방에서 웃고 조곤조곤 얘기하는 소리까지 벙벙 울려서 들림. 양심이 있으면 며칠분 숙박료만 투자해도 방음설비 공사할 수 있을 듯.
5. 욕실에 곰팡이가 그렇게 많은 오성급 호텔은 난생 처음 봄. 3성급 모텔보다 심했음. 양심이 있으면 스팀 청소기로 타일 사이 실리콘 사이 매일 청소하면 그 지경까지 안 됨.

Beautiful hotel grounds and great facilities near the airport, but the rooms are quite dated.
Pros:

The hotel has a large and beautiful territory with plenty of facilities, including a swimming pool, a convenience store, restaurants, and even an ATM, which is especially useful for international travelers. Since the hotel is located in an area where there isn’t much within walking distance, it’s great to have so many things available without leaving the property.

The location is also very convenient if you need to be close to the airport. The staff were excellent — friendly and helpful, and the concierge assisted us with arranging a taxi. Overall, the service was exactly what you would expect from a five-star hotel.

Cons:

The rooms feel quite old and tired and could definitely use renovation. For a five-star hotel, the condition and design of the rooms don’t match the standard of the rest of the property.

푸르른 자연을 좋아한다면 고덕동에서도 1시간만에 갈 수 있는 그린 호캉스, 메이필드 호텔을 추천해요.
Pros:

서울 도심에서 살짝 벗겨난 위치도 좋았고, 서울 가운데에서 이런 쾌적하고 한적한 호텔에서 쉴 수 있다는 점이 무척 좋았습니다. 골프 약속 잡으면 라운딩 가는 날까지 기분이 참 좋잖아요. 친한 친구들 가족들과 라운딩 가는 것처럼 클럽하우스에 도달하는 것처럼, 즐겁고 재밌는 여정길이었습니다. 직원분들도 하나같이 너무 친절하시고 호텔 자체의 인구밀도도 낮아 교외 리조트 온 것 같은 기분이었어요. 정원에 고양이들이 많은 점도 참 기분 좋은 추억이 됐습니다. 콜버트의 랍스터 작품이 설치돼 있는 게 인상적이긴 했으나, 메이필드의 분위기와는 조금 동떨어져있지 않나 생각도 들었어요.

Cons:

단순히 저의 불운이었지만, 한일중 동화교류대회라는 나름 교육부의 큰 대회 일정과 투숙이 겹쳐서 체크인이 굉장히 정신없었습니다. 아이들의 소음이 복도까지 들려와서 아쉬웠습니다.... 하지만 귀여운 아이들을 볼 수 있던 건 좋은 점 같기도 하고..

차치하고, 욕실의 청소상태가 아쉬웠습니다. 구석 곳곳에 머리카락이...ㅠㅠ
리노베이션된 스탠다드 더블룸이 기대가 컸는데 옷 보관 공간과 세면대 공간이 간살문으로 구분이 되는데 이것 때문에 셀프바를 이용하다 세면대를 이용하고 이런 점들이 정말 불편했습니다......

아울러 모든 피트니스 시설이 빌라동에 있어서 이동 동선도 아쉬웠는데.. 비가 오거나 눈이오거나 할 때는 이동하기가 정말 쉽지 않겠더라고요. (그래서 다음 숙박을 하게된다면 빌라동에 묵으면 좋겠구나 생각하긴 했습니다....)

Pros:

Incredible green surroundings of the hotel, where you don't feel like you're in a big metropolis. Extremely polite and helpful staff, excellent restaurants.

Cons:

The mattress was a bit too soft for my sore back, but I was able to work around that. Those beds are definitely fine for normal people.
