heaven on earth
Pros:

honestly - heaven on earth. lovely big room with a balcony and lake view. we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly and fresh strawberries. the staff were so nice. breakfast was excellent. the hotel has vast gardens with a lot of places to sit and relax in. a pier over the lake that enables you to jump right in. a nice big pool. we had the belvedere dinner - just the two of us, with candles and flower and exquisite food and wine. will come back for more

A marvellous unforgettable experience, beautiful location in an exceptional hotel - wonderful staff
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and professional - very good. The gardens and the views were exceptional. There was a short cut into the town at the back of the hotel so a mere 3 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops. Also they ran a "golf buggy" service into town. Location could not be beaten. A wonderful selection of food for breakfast which could be eaten outside making the most of the weather.

Cons:

The pool area was beautiful and the life guards were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. I would have liked some form of cushion on the sunbeds - but if that is all I can find to mention, the hotel is doing very well!

Beautiful garden, exceptional location, no music is a big plus point, nice view

Cons:

NOT SOUNDPROOF WALLS, breakfast is so so, towels smelled vinegary, not equipped bathroom (in this level most the 5 starts provide razors etc)

Beautiful place, well kept.
Pros:

Location, setting, grand palace with beautiful gardens and amazing views of the lake. Friendly staff. Excellent freshly made gluten free cakes in the morning. Clean swimming pool, well kept.

Cons:

Service when busy was very slow. It felt like they needed a few more staff to help speed things up. Limited vegetarian options and limited gluten free options. Mosquito-infested in the evenings so it was difficult to sit outside. Rooms did not get refreshed until late afternoon each day, despite us placing the “please clean room” sign from breakfast time. Again, that was just a result of having too few staff.

Der Aufenthalt war super!

Das Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick zum See wunderschön!
Das Frühstück ist aussergewöhnlich ! Sogar der Kaffee hat mir geschmeckt, was in Italienischen Hotels nicht immer der Fall ist! Und die Dolcis einmalig!
Beim Abendessen auf der Terrasse wurden wir geflissentlich eine halbe Stunde lang übersehen, wir wollten die Rechnung abzeichnen, jedoch rannten ständig 3 Angehörige des Hotelpersonals an uns vorbei, obwohl wir uns verbal und mit Handzeichen meldeten!!!!!!
