I visited when they were undergoing renovations. Even with that it was a pleasent experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean. all staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Hussain and Shwetta. Hussain was always helpful with information and arrangements, always ready to problem solve with a smile.
Shwetta when out of her way to accommodate any request, her friendly nature and happy demeanor made our stay even better. Many thanks to the whole staff.

Horrible. Booked a single room and was given room 301 which was printed on a piece of paper on the door. The room was horrible and felt grubby. The remote for the tv and the air conditioning unit had stains and dirt on them and the tv didn’t work. Wallpaper was stained and ripped, stains on surfaces, stains up walls. The room was desperate for a refurb and felt like I’d been put in staff accommodation. Curtains were faded and were from the 80s. Dirt on wardrobe door. The shower room was also grotty and poorly maintained and I dread to think what was on the shower tray between the side of the shower and the toilet which was grafted in dirt and hair. The room was grubby and made me want to wash my hands all the time. The view from my room was of what looked like a dumping ground. There was noisy drilling during my stay. Fortunately I was only staying one night in this very depressing and worn and dirty room. There is no way this is a four star hotel room and my room felt like a grubby hostel. There is no way that this room should be sold as a 4* hotel room. I would never return. I have complained to the agent I booked with and provided photos but the hotel have yet to respond. I paid £159 for this one night and it’s one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Hugely disappointing and glad to leave. Kettle provided but only plug socket was on very old carpet floor so not very safe or hygenic. NEVER AGAIN!

Great location, but the room was really disappointing
The location of this hotel is fantastic, but unfortunately that's where the positives ended for us.
We stayed for five nights, and on the first day we noticed the air conditioner was leaking. We only realised after it had dripped all over my suitcase, leaving it and some of our clothes wet. We reported it straight away. The staff were nice enough to wash some of our clothes, which we appreciated, but the air conditioner was never actually fixed during our stay. Instead, a rubbish bin was placed underneath it to catch the water, and my suitcase stayed damp for the rest of the trip.
After the third day we were told we could change rooms, but when we came back later to have a look, there was no one at reception to help us, so nothing came of it.
The room itself was very tired and in need of some maintenance. The wallpaper was peeling, the door frames and timber trim were rotting, the curtains didn't close properly, and there was mould in the shower. The room also smelled musty, and because someone in the neighbouring room was smoking, the smell came into our room too. To top it off, a vacuum cleaner was left sitting in the narrow hallway outside our room for much of our stay.
It's a real shame because the location is excellent, but the condition of the room and the lack of action on the maintenance issues really let the place down.

This was my first trip outside of the US, and our stay at the Leonard was wonderful. They were under going some remodeling so there was some construction and lots of activity in the lobby area. This did not hinder our stay in anyway.
We were close to so many shops and restaurants, and Hyde Park
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were friendly, courteous, accommodating and welcoming.
We would come back to this welcoming atmosphere!
