Wonderful night in Dartmouth
Pros:

Wonderful location and full of character. Recently renovated but retained original character. Staff very friendly

Cons:

On balance would probably prefer a room not in the eaves but still spacious and comfy

comfortable, warm and great breakfast.
Pros:

breakfast was fresh and a good source of food. the proper job!
The room was up in the very top. door banged loudly, maybe some soft closure would be a bonus, as we thought next door was coming in, newly renovated.. got some brick acid in the tiles in the bathroom and tidy up the runs of paint. Then it would be worth full price.

Cons:

Parking couldnt be helped, but only one hour or 4 hours.. maybe see if you could get some passes from the council for a all night parking space.

Perfect for a one night stay in Dartmouth
Pros:

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely. Location is perfect. Air conditioning. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and other drinks available in the minibar.

Cons:

This was my fault, not the hotel's. All the pillows and the duvet were duck and goose feather. I am allergic. I completely forgot to mention this on my booking but I didn't discover this until it was after 11:00pm so I couldn't get it resolved. I ended up sleeping on rolled up towels in a pillowcase and just the duvet cover with the blanket. Note to self and others. Always check on the bedding situation if you are highly allergic to feathers.

A place where you will always wish to return …
Pros:

Amazing location, fabulous staff as usual… nothing is ever too much trouble! Delicious breakfast in a dining room with amazing river views … you can just watch the world go by … our special place to visit! 💖 x

Room excellent, very comfortable and bathroom facilities were excellent.

We were in room 6 and the air conditioning system outside the window was very noisy at times.

Pros:

Love the Hotel but I paid over £300 for a room without ait con. Evening meal was standard St Austel Brewery fair rather than something that reflects the cost of the Hotel itself. Bar menu the same. Overall you have lost the atmosphere that used to be there before the changes.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, a real treat!
Pros:

Fantastic location and view, beautifully designed and comfortable bedroom, large ensuite bathroom with both a shower and bath, and delicious breakfast!

Cons:

Unfortunately there's no outdoor area for drinks, only an indoor bar

Pros:

Perfect location. we were given an Attic Room , No Lift we were not advised about this and certainly did'nt expect it.
My husband has Knee problems . One or two floors he could manage so very disappointed.

One night in Dartmouth
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and a good breakfast was available. There was a good view over the harbour.

Cons:

My room was on the top floor. The stairs were steep and there is no lift.
