Modern refurbishment and clean. Staff were amazing, especially the two female front of house
Restaurant didn’t serve steak
All good
Great location, good ambience, lovely staff, very welcoming, comfortable, would definitely stay again. Quaint and full of character.
Breakfast and parking is a bit pricey and should somehow be included in the room price, pillows too firm, but the bed was amazing.
What a fantastic place we stayed at the town house which is just around the corner from the actual pub and it was literally a SC flat.
All of their properties are within the walled town and what a fantastic town plenty of food and drink places and the people are so friendly. Lovely quirky shops everywhere and the staff at the hotel where fantastic. If you get a chance go to the bakers shop near the hotel the minted lamb pasties are to die for and cream cakes.
Will definitely be returning next year.
Thank you so much for a wonderful time.
Nothing
The room clean bed very comfortable
Road noise
The authentic aged building and the finish of the rooms
Parking charges for the attached car park, however free parking down at the castle with a permit from the hotel remedied theis.
Lovely place to stay great clean room with lovely bathroom , good menu and quick food service .
Nothing I didn’t like
Lovely pub with a warm welcome. Would highly recommend.
Loved every minute
The pub itself was very pleasant with a nice beer garden and good food. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful
I arrived during the June heatwave. It was 33C outside. Unfortunately my room in the black tower was at least as hot as this and had only a very small fan to try to cool a king-sized bedroom. Even with the fan running all night and the windows open I could not get the room to cool down and by the morning felt ill and disorientated. Although the room would be fine on a cooler night it was not fit for purpose on the first night I stayed.
was right next to caernarfon castle. lots of choices of restaurants in immediate area.
the carpark facilities. to tight. should move the stone pots to make manoeuvring easier, parking cost 15 pound a night and breakfast not included cost 15 pound per person, adds a cost of 45 pound per day. ouch.
Amazing place to stay, great atmosphere, very clean, location is on point and everyone was very friendly!
First time in Caernarfon, booked up as we were doing Snowdon!
Plenty of pubs around and places to eat. 😊
Comfortable and spacious accommodation.
Good location and helpful staff.
Unfortunately we were situated on the third floor and we had a heat wave!
It was difficult to keep cool at night despite the fan which was provided.
Not an awful lot they could do but possibly two fans, one for the bedroom and another for the lounge area.
