Great hotel with a Great Pub
Pros:

I've stayed many times at The Black Boy Inn. It's a great hotel, staff, and pub. The rooms have everything you need and it's perfectly located inside the walls.

Cons:

The only negative is that I wish they had blackout curtains everywhere. In summer, the sun rises very early and some of the rooms can get quite bright.

Pros:

I was there to visit the Castle, and the location of the hotel right next to the castle was brilliant. I stayed in the annex, and not the main building of the hotel, with a very spacious room. had to walk to main building in the morning to get breakfast, but was no trouble as I carried my luggage to my car at the same time. Annex is only a few meters away from main building anyway. Breakfast was very good. The pub has local welsh beer on tap as well as welsh whisky.

We really enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Location was excellent once settled in, in the heart of the town, breakfast was not included in the booking price and I thought it was a little expensive but the food was good.
The atmosphere and the history was very interesting, we really enjoyed our stay.
The bed was super comfortable:)

Cons:

Information on parking, I didnt realise how far we would need to carry heavy bags. We were discoutaged from using the small car park next to the hotel, as we were told we would get blocked in, but I notice this wasnt the case during our stay, for other people. The onsite parking was very expensive at £15 per night.
The bath was very deep and I struggled getting in and out to shower.
The room was very dark even with lights on.
Shower gel dispenser was broken.

Soggiorno in struttura storica a Caernarfon
Pros:

Disappointing
Pros:

Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful with parking. Excellent sandwiches and beer on the pavement seating with parasols.
Having a tower fan in the room was very welcome in a heatwave!
Very convenient for the Castle .

Cons:

For such an old pub it was positively plastered with plastic beams and diverse knick knacks.
Nearly all staff just didn't seem friendly. Either very curt or just not engaged. Hectic food order system involving talking under a large beer arch in both bars. My gammon was so tough I couldn't eat it. The waitress collecting the plates apologised but really did not seem interested. We went elsewhere for breakfast as it wasn't included in the price.

A true historic gem -- a real highlight of our trip to Northern Wales
Pros:

Lovely stay in a true historic inn right in the centre of Caernarfon, just steps from the castle. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We loved all the historic small touches. Our room was modern, comfortable and convenient, while still retaining its historic charm. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Free parking voucher for the castle's long-term parking lot was a bonus and really appreciated -- would recommend that people arrive early as they have a limited number of these vouchers to give out.

Cons:

Even though the heat wave had broken and the weather was cool and comfortable outdoors, our room was quite stuffy. The window didn't open fully, and I think it was above the kitchen and received some heat from the roof vents. The staff helpfully provided a fan, but ensuring the windows open better and that there's more ventilation would make the rooms more comfortable for summer stays.

Pros:

The location was superb although parking, as expected, was a little tricky. The Reception team were very helpful explaining the parking options and we did manage to secure a free parking space for 3 of our 5 day stay.

Cons:

The kitchenette could have been a little better equipped with more cleaning cloths, t-towels, a decent can opener, salt and pepper and more than 2 each of knives, forks and spoons. Apart from that, the accommodation was very good.
