Pros:

It was quiet with easy access to Coalville centre. English breakfast was cooked and you could still enjoy the international side too. Staff members were professional, polite and caring.

Cons:

There was nothing wrong with the. Hermitage park hotel.

Disappointed on staff management of noisy residents

Cons:

Despite contacting reception twice, the people in the room next to me blasted out music until 2.20am. There should be a zero tolerance policy on noise! I should have been offered a different room after my “neighbours” refused to turn their music off. I was exhausted in the morning when I got up for work!

Pros:

We arrived late and the welcome was lovely. My husband is blind, it was dark and we were tired, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovey. Thank you Hermitage.

After a number of stays here I will not be returning
Pros:

The young staff on duty during our two days were excellent and helpful. The room was very tired but clean and tidy.

Cons:

I had stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions in the past few years when attending a near by event. It's always been no frills but perfectly adequate for our needs and we had always enjoyed the cooked breakfast. That was until this stay where the hotel obviously has had new owners and the Cooked Breakfast no longer has any pork products. Turkey bacon and Chicken sausages do not a Breakfast make and had this been pointed out I would have found somewhere else to stay. Suffice to say I will not be returning.

No hot water for the entire weekend.
Pros:

Staff very pleasant, accommodation clean and appropriately apportioned representing good value.

Cons:

There was no hot water. I stayed for three days/nights and had to boil the kettle to get any hot water for a shave and was forced to have a bird bath using the bin as a makeshift bucket.

Shower water pressure low , in my mates room it didn’t work, mattress on bed dipped in the middle, no fridge in room

The hotel was just what we needed for the closeness to where we needed to be and comfort.
Pros:

It was all lovely and we appreciated the fact that coffee, tea and milk was supplied as well as soap in the bathroom.

Cons:

The neighbour had their television on very loud from booking in - when we arrived at 3pm, and when we returned in the evening until 2am. It sounded like someone came to speak to them at that time because it then was quiet. Maybe a notice to remind guests that the television is on an adjoining wall would help?

Quiet location. Simple and no fuss , but clean, with daily toiletries and other supplies renewed.

Good shower pressure.

Friendly staff.

Cons:

The corridors didn't smell so fresh,as there was a smell of cooking.
One pf the beds in our room was a bit saggy.
