Important information:

Please note that the village is car-free and the property can only be reached by mountain railway (7 minute journey). You can either take the cable car from Morschach or the funicular from Schwyz/Schlattli (tickets are not included in the room rate). The hotel is located right next to both mountain stations.

Free parking spaces are available at the cable car station in Morschach (parking at the cable car station in Schlattli is available at an additional cost).
A deposit may be required at the property.

Better wellness hotels in Grindelwald!

Enjoyed the mountain location and incredible Stoos ridge hike

Cons:

Not all staff were friendly, which we found very unusual given its ‘Wellbess,’ promise. Also the hotel was under construction or repair and they failed to let us know. A coffee machine in each room must also be added. Waiting until 730am for coffee is not acceptable. The lady at the breakfast area was furious when I tried to make a coffee approx 720am (despite advertising 7am open on booking.com)

Pros:

It was sweltering hot and the AC unit in the room didn’t work for 3 days. We kept telling the hotel about this issue. They only fixed it on the last night. And for that we only got 19 % off. It was very uncomfortable. For the price we paid this was not acceptable. After all it’s supposed to be 4 star hotel.

Sehr ruhig, schöner Blick auf die Berge, Bergstation der Zahnradbahn und Talstation eines Sessellifts gut zu Fuß erreichbar

Cons:

Extrem teuer für ein Zimmer mit normaler Ausstattung ohne Klimaanlage.

Der hohe Preis wird mich davon abhalten, erneut zu buchen.

Degelijk welness hotel met goed eten en een super ontbijt
Pros:

Super locatie met mooie wellness zwembad en ligbedden.
Kamer werd 2x per dag in orde gebracht.
Mooie kamer met apart bad en douche

Cons:

Het was onder het dak op de kamer warm en geen airco
Driehoekig raampje kon niet helemaal open enkel op klap
