Very central and great location but can be hot and noisy
Pros:

Very central and great location.
Easy to find and only 10 minute walk with luggage from train station.

Cons:

Room was hot and didn’t have a fan. Reception told us they had some available when we checked out but didn’t offer any when we first arrived.
Because it is very central to the middle of town it was noisy at night.

Best location for mountain views...
Pros:

Clearest views of Eiger and Mönch from the backyard.
Room was clean and spacious enough. Only disadvantage is that there is no lift.
Breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred to have options for chicken as well.
Location is close enough to Grindelwald station. Nearest bus stops take you to Grindelwald Terminal.
Grindelwald First is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

Pros:

For a 2 stars hotel, it is very good to be clean and with breakfast. Also nice Eiger view from balcony.

Cons:

They waste food for breakfast. They bring a basket of bread and some cheese and jam to our table. But it is a waste when a lot of us didn’t able to finish. One day i was there late so i couldn’t finish fast enough and asked to bring a croissant with me but she said no. I didn’t mean to greedy but just eating while on my way. And i dont like to waste food.

Comfortable , gorgeous place with amazing breakfast , excellent location and exceptional people!
Pros:

We loved everything about this place. This was our favorite hotel out of our whole trip. It was so clean, comfortable and the location was AMAZING. Speaking of amazing, the staff went above and beyond. Christophe was so kind and helpful. We couldn’t make breakfast one morning so he packed us a box to go. The breakfast was delicious with cereal, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, bread basket with jams and the best coffee. The location is right next to First , less than a 10 minute walk . There is also the most delicious crepe place down the street. You can also enjoy a walk through the neighborhoods and see cows and the most gorgeous views. There’s a farm not too far that sells fresh milk out of a machine but they only take Swiss coins (no euros) . They also had a place for us to park our car, I just can’t say enough nice things. We really enjoyed our time here and did not want to leave .

整體而言我滿喜歡的，早餐好吃、服務人員親切，當然設備比較偏舊，不過整體還是很溫馨

早餐很好吃，服務人員親切，位置也很不錯，走去first山的纜車跟火車站都不遠（因為剛好在中間）但我覺得這個距離很剛好，要搭公車也行，但我們覺得走路就滿方便的，不過如果要去少女峰的話就要搭公車去另一個轉運站。

Pros:

Excellent place to stay! The room was super comfortable and the view from the balcony was awesome! It was straight out of a postcard. No joke.

The place is in the dead centre of Grindelvald. Super close to the train station. A bus stop is right opposite the place. There were convenience stores and Coop nearby as well.
Mr Cristoph and Ms Birgett were super helpful and accommodating! The were very warm, welcoming and forthcoming with ideas on things to do around the region. Loved the stay!

Cons:

Only one hiccup, the heater didnt work.
But! They gave us a portable one! So it was alright!

Great stay and would come back here in the future!
Pros:

It’s easily accessible by foot or bus from the Grindelwald station. I love that it has an eiger view. Very clean and the staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is also so good and filling. Overall, good value for money, and our stay was great and very memorable.
