My stay at Kronprinz
Pros:

View at the hotel specially the outdoor seating at restaurant in middle of mountain

Cons:

Its difficult to commute without car

Wonderful stay, wonderful breakfast and dinner, some free outside parking and 5 underground parking!
Pros:

The Kronprinz is a very nice hotel with a beautiful mountain view from our room. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our two-night stay! We visited the Eagle's Nest, which is fascinating and and interesting glimpse into Hitler's life, as he considered Berchtesgaden to be his beautiful place to relax while contemplating and executing his world domination!

Cons:

just a side note that the hotel is on a hill above town and everything, except the beautiful view, is downhill, uphill on the return. Not a problem, except for those with mobility issues.

Well worth the visit stunning location
Pros:

Fantastic location with a terrace to enjoy a beer and the views
Secure garage parking was a bonus
A short walk from the town so easy to shop and enjoy the bars and restaurants

Cons:

Staff in restaurant were lacking in any form of service making you feel like you were an inconvenience only one chap made any effort but still forgot our order
Food was nice and excellent breakfast

Pros:

Echt traditioneel Beiers hotel. Goede bedden, goede douche. Op loopafstand vh centrum, mooie omgeving.

Cons:

Het hotel was gedateerd. Had ook die geur in de gangen. Kamers waren te vol ongericht. En benauwd ( ondanks open ramen). Ontbijt was in buffetvorm., maar niet bijzonder. Al met al vonden we de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet goed. Kamers zijn veel te duur.

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was extensive. When the sun came out the views were outstanding!

Cons:

I knew it was a half mile walk from the train station, but didn’t realize it was very steep! Not a problem if you have a car or travel very light.

Godt beliggende hotel, men restauranten kan ikke anbefales
Pros:

Hotellet har den smukkeste udsigt over Watzmann-bjergene (herren, fruen og de fem børn).
Værelset var pænt og med balkon og udsigt.

Cons:

Morgenbuffet var meget varieret, dog blev der ikke lavet mere bacon, hvis det blev “udsolgt”. Det prøvede vi og der var morgenmad hel time til.
I restauranten fik jeg pasta med kyllingebryst. Jeg har aldrig fået så tør kylling. Den kunne hverken skæres i eller tygges, den trevlede bare. Sagde det til to tjenere, den ene gloede bare på mig, tog tallerkenen med kyllingeresterne og sagde ikke, den anden beklagede dog og ville sige det videre.
Synes ikke et 4-stjernet hotel kan være bekendt at servere så dårlig mad og når man klager, så ikke tilbyde en noget andet eller en reduktion i prisen.
20 euro for lidt pasta med oliven er en meget høj pris.
Er meget skuffet over hotellets håndtering af sagen.

A welcoming traditional hotel with friendly staff and great views of the mountains
Pros:

The mountain view was spectacular and although the hotel was on the edge of town it was only a 15 minute walk to the centre.
The hotel has a traditional feel, is clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good

Cons:

Nothing really, Maybe a kettle in the room for tea / coffee would have been nice.

Als Buffet ok zu dem Preis.

Die Terasse ist der Knaller.
Gerne wieder.

Betten sehr bequem.. Bad gross.

Cons:

Zimmer Dank des Buchungsportal hinter Wirtschaftshof.
Autos parkten direkt an nserem Fenster. Konnte dadurch nicht richtig gelüftet werden, Zimmer zu warm. Nachts sehr laut. Fenster musste geschlossen werden.
Frühstück ansprechend, doch nach meiner Meinung wurde nach 9.00 Uhr nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Rührei nie frisch gesehen.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, Renovierung der Zimmer, Böden und Bäder steht an, „ungewöhnlicher“ Stil mit vielen roten Elementen und Blumendekor
Frühstücksraum zu den Hauptzeiten eng
Licht im Zimmer könnte heller sein
Berchtesgaden ist recht teuer, aber eigentlich stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsniveau des Hotels nicht
