Behalve de kamermeisjes, onvriendelijk en alles behalve commercieel ingestelde hotel-medewerkers.
Aan de receptie (een physisch representatief) receptionniste, ECHTER zonder empathie naar de klanten toe (onvriendelijk en minachtend).Zij bezorgde onze reeds betaalde "comfortkamer" nl. kamer 503, desondanks ons aanvankelijk verzoek kamer met zicht op tuin/binnenkoer en moesten in de snikhete kamer 503 logeren zonder airco en verplichte gesloten dakvensters en gesloten stores waarvan één aangeplakt en dit aan een peperduur tarief!!!
Ik ben al lang een goede klant van booking en ik zou graag vanuwertwege een vergoeding willen bekomen voor twee nachten in Amsterdam.Dat zou ik ook normaal vinden om verder reizen te boeken via Booking.

Locatie midden in centrum en de grandeur uitstraling van het gebouw

Cons:

De kamer was ruim maar echt veel te warm (“thermostaat” in de badkamer gaf 27 graden aan?) doordat de luchtcirculatie niet/onvoldoende functioneerde waardoor slapen oncomfortabel was. De ramen openzetten voor wat frisse lucht was niet mogelijk. Op de vloer van kamer lagen kruimels van eten van de vorige gast en in de badkamer tegen de muur zaten een paar haren (ook van de vorige gast?). De handdoeken lagen niet in de badkamer maar verstopt onderin een kast in de kamer. Al met al geen prettig verblijf gehad in dit Fletcher hotel, terwijl ik normaliter vaak met plezier en naar volle tevredenheid logeer bij deze keten.

Vanwege de bereikbaarheid en risico op sanctie, toch teleurstellend.
Cons:

De bereikbaarheid met de auto; er stond een waarschuwing dat je gefotografeerd zou worden als je de route die de reisplanner aangaf zou volgen.
Dat levert verwarring op als je niet weet volgens welke route je anders het hotel kunt bereiken.
Had wel beter op de website of de bevestiging van de reservering aangegeven kunnen worden.
Heb er een goed gevoel aan over gehouden, zeker als er een kans op een bekeuring blijkt te bestaan.
Mocht dat het geval zijn dan kom ik daar zeker bij U op terug

Nice, comfortable, central hotel
Pros:

Central location, positively old-school, nice room, view into street on ground level - but quiet nonetheless. Clean, pragmatic room, beds soft as everywhere in the Netherlands, unusually spacious stair cases ;) Excellent price.

Cons:

Asked for a safe parking spot for our bicycles over night, was redirected to a typical Dutch public bicycle parking garage a few blocks away. Strictly speaking ok, but with a lot of luggage, all the back and forth for a single night stay, late in the evening anyway, this is less than optimal. Suggestion for an improvement: The overall facility is more than big enough for a dedicated parking spot inside or even behind the building.
