Amazing location, average experience
Pros:

The location was amazing and the view from the room of the Blue Mosque was great and from the breakfast area. The room was a large size.

Cons:

We found the buffet breakfast disappointing. The front desk staff were not particularly helpful except to try and sell a dinner cruise. The toilet being in the shower area was unusual and the hairdryer was falling apart.

Great old town lo cation
Pros:

Great location behind the blue mosque. Wonderful sitting on the balcony with a part view of the mosque which was great.
The bathroom had a large bowl in the centre for a traditional pouring of water over oneself. But having this in the shower meant there was very little room to shower.
The roof top terrace for breakfast was lovely with a view of the sea but there wasn't any shade which meant you needed to wear sun glasses for breakfast.
It looks like the hotel and gardens have an old history which was nice.
The front garden where you arrive was very nice and nice to sit in an evening..
We eent over to the Asian side on the ferry. Worth a trip.
It was simple to get the train and tram from the airport to the hotel.
We did a guru walking tour which was excellent and gave us our bearings for the next few days.
Some of the historical attractions are expensive. Would be worth checking out the group/multi attraction passes for better value.
Men need shorts to be below knee and ladies to cover chest, shoulders hair and legs if above the knee skirt/shorts. There are shawls to rent or borrow if you forget.
Food was good in Istanbul. Prices for food and drinks overall are similar to the UK.
Local people were very friendly and helpful.

We have really enjoyed the culture, food and experience and would recommend.

Cons:

The bathroom is small. Trying to open the bathroom door, to get around to the toilet and shower wasn't ideal. It's very tight.
The traditional bowl in the shower made it difficult to shower properly. Bathroom photos make it look bigger than in reality - a distorted impression of size which could be a problem if you mobility issues.

Enjoyable and traditional environment
Pros:

Breakfast was good, the location was perfect, and the front and back gardens where more then we expected.

Cons:

The hammam bath style took most of the bathroom, could have been more comfortable with out it.

An excellent place to stay - location and character.
Pros:

The location near the Blue Mosque was excellent. The staff were eager to help. The breakfast offered many choices and seating was both indoors or outside, both with great views. The bathroom had special features.

We very much enjoyed our visit and would recommend it as an excellent option in Sultanahmet.
Pros:

Location and assistance from staff, especially Musa at reception. I could not be more grateful to him for arranging a dental appointment when I broke a tooth. Within 12 hours of it happening on a Sunday. He also resolved another minor health related issue within a couple of hours. The hotel feels like an oasis from the business outside and the views of the Blue Mosque are Sea of Marmara from our room were stunning

Cons:

No lift and room very small with a challenging bathroom! Breakfast could be improved

Excellent. I would certainly stay there again.
Pros:

The hotel location is excellent, being within walking distance to the major tourist attractions. The staff are most attentive and the room was very comfortable with a good view of the Bosphorus. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening with a glass of wine in hand, watching the evening draw in and the city lights come on. I definitely recommend the hotel.
