Heat, noise, crowded street, the whoke area looked a bit shady, like

The staff were lovely, the hotel is in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk from Bow Road station, a McDonald’s and shops in walking distance. The TV on the wall was a nice touch.
The room itself was dirty. The bed was the cleanest thing in the room. The bathroom was disgusting. Severe limescale buildup in the shower, mould and rust in the shower head prevented it from pumping out a full stream. There was a big buildup of dust all around the room, even the window sill looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in a while. There was a fan on the wall but it had a lot of dust build up in it and it wouldn’t adjust, when I tried to angle it to point towards the bed, it nearly fell off the wall. The plug sockets are seriously dangerous and need checking immediately because they were half hanging off the wall and could really hurt (or in worse case scenario kill) someone. The wooden floors could also do with a mop after every stay because they were filthy and my feet were black after walking on them.

Too expensive for what it was. Very basic. Fairly clean but tired looking. Could smell cannabis very strongly!

The only positive about the whole stay was the location.
Don't do it. Black mould everywhere in the bathroom. A plank from a scrap bin as a headboard with people's hand prints all over that have given the bed a good go. Mysterious stains (some looking like blood) on the walls. The "daily housekeeping" was a white bin bag with two towels left on our doorknob, and the dust in the rooms was older than us.

Location of the hotel was good . It was close from the tube and nearby petrol station, grocerry store and coffee shop.
The receptionist was co-operative and helpful
Very old building with narrow corridors.
No lift and had to climb 2 floors with the bags.
They did not have anyone to help carry the bags as well.
Only one staff at the reception to look after the whole building.
