Pros:

Lovely hotel on a beautiful property a little away from the main road. We enjoyed the pool and the privacy and looked forward to breakfast every day. Gary gave us good tips on where to go and what to see. Very enjoyable.

Bezoek Swellendam en omgeving
Pros:

Van ontvangst tot vertrek meer dan 100% service en verzorging. Wat een bijzondere ervaring. De ruime suite alles perfect. Fantastisch ontbijt buiten op het terras en binnen. We verbleven 2 nachten om een dag te besteden aan Swellendam het museum en omgeving. Het had zeker 1 dag meer moeten zijn om ook te kunnen genieten van wat De Kloof aan wellness te bieden heeft.

Tranquil luxury
Pros:

Luxury, tranquil, lovely staff. Loved the local bird life on our doorstep - particularly the weaver birds

Cons:

We were expecting a hot tub from the pics and description but it has been moved. We also had an issue with the upstairs bedroom leaking into our bed - staff resolved this very quickly tho (just couldn't use upstairs shower)

Gut, aber kein Favorit
Pros:

Das historische Gebäude ist sehr schön. Man könnte allerdings mehr daraus machen.

Cons:

Im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften, welche über die letzten Jahre besucht haben, waren wir ja leider nicht so zufrieden, wie normalerweise.

Bis auf das Badezimmer war es ein toller Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage und sehr freundliches Personal. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und hat einen Tee bekommen.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer gab es leider keine Badezimmertür, was sehr unangenehm ist. Die Dusche und die Toilette sind frei zugänglich ohne wirkliche Abgrenzung.

Tolle Aufenthalt mit einem super leckeren Frühstück und einer tollen Massage.
Pros:

Grandioses Frühstück, Estate ist umgeben von Bergen. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und die Möglichkeit für eine Massage ist besteht ebenso. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Super Personal. De Hoop ist nicht weit entfernt (ca. 60km Off-road). Ideal für einen ersten Stopp kommend aus Kapstadt nach einem langen Flug.

Cons:

Leider ist das Estate dennoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und beim genaueren hinschauen gibt es doch ein oder andere Mängel.
