Very well located cave room hotel to stay in Matera. Great value for money
Pros:

Very well located. Nice and comfortable cave room. The views from the terrace were amazing. The staff is very friendly.

Classic Sassi experience
Pros:

Location and history were amazing
Rooms in a cave were atmospheric
Views of the Sassi were stunning.
Air con in the room.
Quiet
Easy access to the Sassi and newer part of the town.

Cons:

Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly or helpful
Breakfast was included but was limited and poor. Just ate fruit.
I emailed before we came asking about laundry service as we were on a longer trip.. they said yes... then no when we arrived.
Some terrace seats broken and uncomfortable

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Matera.
Pros:

Die Lage in der Altstadt war Super, abgesehen von den vielen Treppen, aber das gehört in Matera dazu. das Zimmer entsprach dem Hotel, klein aber fein. das Frühstück war vielseitig und sehr gut.

Hotel Sassi has one of the best locations in Matera in our opinion, 5-min walk to the city centre. Our suite was really spacious, simple old-fashioned in the spirit of the city itself, but the view from the your private terrace of the suite is something that exceeded our expectations! Marvelous at day, as at night! Pack lightly, as the hotel is locatedin the pedestrian zone and it is not approachable by car/other transportation.

部屋は洞窟部屋で最高にユニーク。
部屋の変更も快く対応してくれてありがたかった。

Cons:

裸足で歩くのが好きなのだが、足の裏に砂のようなものがたくさんついて、靴下を履かざるを得なかった。
こんなホテルは滅多にないので、かなり残念に感じた。
歴史的建造物だからかもしれないが、ポットがなく、冷たいものしか部屋で飲めない。
空調を調整できない。
ブランケットが置いていない（貸してもらった）。
