The location
Not sure what it was but they all look too busy in their own way to smile or even pay actual attention. The reason why I wouldn’t go back to this hotel is because I brought with me people with disabilities and I asked the staff of if I could buy some soup to bring in the room for that person, one no we don’t offer room service and 2nd you have to pay the whole dinner £12.50 to get the soup which I thought ok I can do that but can I take it to the room as the person we support has social anxiety they said no you have to eat at the restaurant.Am thinking seriously that’s harsh.
Anyway that my personal experience and therefore I will not be going back there.
Clean sheets and generally clean facilities
Great little pool
Really lovely staff
Extremely dated, very old and lumpy mattresses and mouldy grout and walls in bathroom and the pool
Location
Not very clean. Rooms really dated
Location very good and front of hotel looked good. Bed very comfortable.
A couple of the staff were quite rude.
Decor very worn and dated. Some of the wallpaper in bedroom was torn off and carpets looked matted.
Modern friendly helpful hotel.
Nice sports bar attached.
Rooms were clean and of a good size. Bed was comfortable. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful
Reception staff ranged from unhelpful to plain rude. Handing over a key with the comment room 421 was hopeless, this is a complex hotel - everywhere else I've ever stayed, the staff would point out were the room was. And why a massive key to carry around? Almost all hotels these days use credit card sized cards for access; light and easy to carry. We were only offered the one (huge) key, everywhere else I've ever stayed would provide a second key card if there were two guests. Signage was very poor and confusing. The lifts inadequate. There are three car arks, surely a simple map showing where to park would be the least we could expect.
Brilliant and very clean everthing expected for the british riveria value for money loads of entertainment and very welcoming staff freindly and very helpfull couldnt ask for more

Close to beach, booked v late but v cheap for July, v helpful reception 😁 I'll be back in a few weeks no doubt,
Nothing it was great place, I'll be back in a few weeks
Location and clean.
Bed felt to soft for me.
The ambience was alright
The bathroom didn’t meet expectations. There were bed bugs on the bed in the room.
Location is excellent - just a short walk from the beach and seafront. Great price for the location. An old building with plenty of character. Room was quite spacious for the price.
We could hear doors slamming at the other end of the corridor and people talking in the corridor, both late at night and early in the morning. Bring some sleep aids e.g. earplugs / headphones! Also note parking is £9/night (plenty of parking spaces).
🙂
