The Location, The " Historical Cachet ", everything was "old" and brand new at the same time; the fact that it is a family businnes with an history, the installlation; the library, the breakfast in a nutshell, all.
The coffee is not my favorite brand but the rest of the breakfast was amazing

This was not our first stay at this hotel, but unfortunately it will definitely be our last.
The room we were assigned this time was well below our expectations and significantly worse than the room we had during our previous visits. Given our past positive experiences, this was particularly disappointing.
The restaurant however is great.
To make matters worse, the hotel lost my birthday cake, which completely ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration. Although the staff managed to locate the cake the following day and kindly offered me a gift as a gesture of goodwill, the damage had already been done. Given the price paid and the standards expected from a hotel of this level, I believe the staff should have made a greater effort to prevent such a situation from occurring in the first place.

We really liked the facility. The bed was really confortable. The staff friendly and the SPA was amazing.

unfortunately, the room doors offer absolutely no soundproofing. You can hear every single whisper from the corridor. Also, a plastic shower curtain has no place in a 4-star hotel; the entire bathroom becomes practically unusable after just one shower

The location was perfect, situated in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the surrounding green fields. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options.
The property was beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail in every room. Everything was spotless and very well maintained.
We mixed our stay with spa, which was an amazing and relaxing experience. The massage was wonderful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
As an English speaker, I would have appreciated better English communication from the staff. The waiting time at the restaurant was also quite long, especially between the starter and main course, which made the meal feel a bit slow.
