Great stay!
Pros:

Very close to downtown Charlottetown and the boardwalk. Walking distance for everything you want in downtown Charlottetown. Very nice rooms. Delicious breakfasts.

Great place, well located
Pros:

The staff was amazing. We were travelling with our dog and it was super pet friendly, they even gave her a toy, a snack and some poopy bags.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean. They have a happy hour every day where you get to tastes local beers and wine for free.
The continental breakfast was also great.
Well situated in Charlottetown, you can walk to downtown.
They have a free level 2 ev charger, which was definitely a plus for us!

It was ok.
Pros:

Small rooms and common areas had an “old” smell. Had to ask for the room floors to be recleaned. Not cheap for what you get compared to the rest of the maritimes.

Pros:

Location was central downtown but terrible for parking- was clean but the room was incredibly small for the amount paid

Poor parking, very small room and not as high class as expected for the amount paid for the room very unimpressed with the quality and quantity for the amount paid

la personne à l'accueil ne parle pas français.

Perfect place for the weekend!
Pros:

Clean, had everything I needed especially robust air conditioning! We were there during a heat wave and really needed it!

An elevator would be great but I knew the property didn’t have one!

Fantastic!
Pros:

We could not have asked for a better location for our stay. The hotel is walking distance to everything you could want to see in Charlottetown! The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was fantastic!

Overall, it was a great location. It was clean and comfortable and extra touches were provided.

I loved the comfy beds and the pillows. So comfortable. I loved how The Pownal provided some little extras..snacks, drinks information on where to eat etc. I loved that the parking was right there on the property. It was a very quiet hotel in a good location and I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

While the breakfast provided was fantastic, we did not like the red and green peppers in the scrambled eggs. There was only sausage provide and we don't eat sausage. There were lots of other choices provided though. Being up on the second floor, we had some stairs and doors to go through to have access to our room. No elevators here. We were the first room on a walk across balcony, so there were lots of people walking by our room and window at certain times which was sometimes a little noisy for a few minutes.

Hôtel urbain tout confort
Pros:

Hôtel magnifiquement bien situé, près du centre historique et du parc Victoria. Nous avons apprécié le confort de la chambre, les déjeuners de qualité, les ‘happy hour ‘ offerts et le prêt des vélos gratuitement. Personnel très aimable.

Cons:

Une salle de bain avec douche serait appréciée mais c’est vraiment un détail.
