⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Stay in a Truly Spectacular Room
We had the pleasure of staying in this incredible room last night, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the grandeur and elegance of the space. The room is beautifully designed, with stunning high ceilings and furnishings that create a unique blend of historic charm and comfort.
The four-poster bed was both impressive and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night’s sleep. Every detail, from the beautiful lighting to the cozy seating area overlooking the gardens, made the room feel special and inviting. The atmosphere was peaceful, romantic, and full of character.
Waking up to the natural light streaming through the beautiful windows was an experience in itself. This is far more than just a hotel room—it’s a destination and an experience that makes you feel like royalty.
We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something extraordinary. We can’t wait to return!
10/10 – Simply stunning. ✨🏰🛏️
Quietish tree lined location, yet close to town.
On arrival no staff to speak to.
Comfy bed
Nice breakfast
Free parking
The bedroom was clean, with a view over the garden the window was open and the room was cool. The bed was comfortable and the room stayed cool even though it was the hottest night of the year.
More sugar for the coffee and tea making facilities.
A lovely hotel set in a beautifully preserved historic building. The self‑check‑in system makes arrival easy, and the room is spacious with a modern, well‑designed bathroom. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the station and the beach. Two complimentary bottles of water were a thoughtful touch.
breakfast is a bit limited and expensive (15£)
The hotel was very good and in a good location
I can not think of anything that I did not like
The bed was lovely and comfortable. The building has lots of character and history. The hotel is a short bus ride into central Bournemouth. It's on a quiet street so it's nice and quiet at night for sleeping.
We stayed in Lillie's room which has a balcony but it could do with a good scrub, so could the table and chair out there. The bathroom door doesn't shut. There's a bath / shower setup in the corner of the room, nightmare to have a shower in. You end of fighting the shower curtain. Few cobwebs on the ceiling and around the top of the bed.
Didn't have breakfast. Location was easy to drive to but a long walk to town
Tv was to small for the room
The staff were as helpful as they could be
Dirty room,dingy,tired old battered room
Lovely room, great location, have stayed before.
There is no reception anymore, no bar no people. Seems very soulless. No one to ask questions etc
Unique and truly special
The location, food, and very cosy room
Bed needs a new.materess
No one to serve bar when we rang bell
Lovely location , very historic atmosphere and lovely furniture
That fact there was no staff, no bar and that some of the bathroom was making noises in the night
Liked the decor and very clean
