The ambiance and the building itself.
No milk capsules in the room you needed to call down to reception for milk.
Sherbrooke is a beautiful Castle with a gorgeous garden. Jamal was our favorite Concierge and all of the Staff were exceptional and the restaurant was very good.
Beautiful large room and great location - comfy bed .
Breakfast ran out at 9am and not replenished , the hotel was understaffed so things took a very long time . The room was also v warm so possibly a fan is needed for the untypically warm days .

The location and cost, this hotel is overpriced and it’s not really a castle hotel. It’s far from Glasgow and it’s located in a densely populated neighborhood.

Stunning building. Clean and tidy rooms
We booked and asked that the room was suitable for dogs. Went to fetch items and was told that dogs weren’t allowed in the entrance whilst carrying our things. Had to pay for room clean of the room we hadn’t stayed in as we used the toilet before bringing our dog in. Receptionist had not listened.

Only one key for two people in a “shared” room. Could not accomodate us in the actual castle because we requested twin beds
