Pros:

Very welcoming at reception.
Pleased that meals served in library and lounge when have dog.

Cons:

Probably a total coincidence but unfortunately when my husband used your WiFi his phone said there was a virus. Phone shop said messages were a scam. May be totally unconnected with your WI fi system.

Scottish comfortable
Pros:

Truly felt like Scottish royalty. Very traditional rooms with Scottish tartan carpentry in lobby and up stairwells. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and gracious. Ample parking on site. Great location short drive to airport.

Cons:

Continental breakfast was just ok. Needed a bit more of a selection like scones.

Pros:

Zimmer ist sehr groß und ruhig. Bett ist sehr angenehm.

Cons:

ich habe zwei Zimmer in einem Nebengebäude bekommen. Diese sind dunkel. Aber für einen Nacht ist nicht schlimm.

Lovely as usual
Pros:

Didn’t have breakfast, was up visiting my elderly dad, was a nice surprise to be upgraded, very pleased.

Cons:

When we’ve been up previous occasions we’ve had room 38 lovely big room but NO FRIDGE to keep bottles of water milk etc… that would be a great addition 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful castle hotel.
Pros:

Loved the castle hotel’s proximity to Glasgow. Sherbrooke Castle Hotel is located in a very quiet beautiful area on the outskirts of Glasgow.

Castle experience
Pros:

Location was great. Steps away from the train that takes to Glasgow in 6 min.
The staff was very helpful and service was high class (reception, bar and restaurant). We loved hanging out in the lounge.

Cons:

The room wasn’t part of the castle which was disappointing. Found out after we checked in that it had to be requested ahead of time.

Felt like a Queen in my Castle and enjoyed every minute.
Pros:

Sherbrooke is a beautiful Castle with a gorgeous garden. Jamal was our favorite Concierge and all of the Staff were exceptional and the restaurant was very good.

Needs more staff but beautiful venue and comfy rooms
Pros:

Beautiful large room and great location - comfy bed .

Cons:

Breakfast ran out at 9am and not replenished , the hotel was understaffed so things took a very long time . The room was also v warm so possibly a fan is needed for the untypically warm days .

I was disappointed in how this hotel is advertised, it’s not a castle and it’s rundown.
Pros:

The staff was great, friendly and very helpful!

Cons:

The location and cost, this hotel is overpriced and it’s not really a castle hotel. It’s far from Glasgow and it’s located in a densely populated neighborhood.
