Restaurant excellent
Single bed felt like a camp bed and was quite soft
Enjoyable stay. Accommodation from outside looks to be dated but rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Bathrooms could do with being updated. Nice looking Indian restaurant within premises. It was busy but did not eat there as my fellow golfers wanted to eat elsewhere which was dissapointjng as I do like Indian food. Ideal location with adequate free parking.

Great value, excellent staff. Room a little but clean and comfy bed. I have never had such a stock of tea coffee and milk as here.we stopped two nights and on the first morning there was a bag hanging on the door full of tea coffee and milk and biscuits . There was a fan left in our room, very welcome and worked a treat. You can walk to knebworth from here, a jaunt, but can be done as if going for. Concert, it’s hard to get a cab. Would recommend and stop again. We were room 102, nice and shaded in this heat

A pleasant welcome from the reception desk staff. I cannot comment on the meals as I did not eat at the hotel. The old part of the hotel was beautiful.

As I'm usually travelling some distance being able to check in late if the traffic is bad is essential. Comfortable and clean, everything worked as it should.

the room was not very clean .. there was blood and mold on the sheets and when our colleague notified reception , they offered her clean sheets and she had to change them herself ! I e-mailed them to share her experience at the hotel as she was travelling alone and asked her if they could change her room, and i was sent a standard reply . We followed up with another e-mail , asking to change her room and an offer of compensation , but have not received a reply yet!
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed here several times when working in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is excellent, very friendly and attentive, and you are made to feel valued as a customer. Food is great too - breakfast very good, but the Nirvana Indian restaurant is absolutely brilliant! All in all, good value, if this hotel is available I will always stay here.

Clean room and bathroom. Pleasant staff on reception.
Carpets are a little tired but everything is reasonable for the price.
