Pros:

Great location. Good value.
Easy check in and check out.

Cons:

It's not the most up to date, but it's perfect for what you get for the cost and location.
It can be loud at night, but it's middle of town so expected!

What I paid for, Pleasant with no real issues.
Pros:

Overall, It was what I paid for, nice welcoming, everything explained fully by a friendly member of staff. I didn’t use the bar, but it looked like anyone would have a good time 😃

Cons:

Very small things. Struggled to switch the tv on with the remote.

Efficient
Pros:

Great location, polite staff and cheap nearby parking.

Cons:

A little dated, can see they are trying to reset care slowly. TV in room didn’t work, however, it was no biggy

Pros:

It was in an excellent location, close to the railway station and museum and theatre.

Cons:

My room was at the top of three full flights of steep narrow stairs. The room was shabby and I could feel like the springs in the mattress. The "continental" breakfast was as basic as it could possibly be, but was all that was available.
But the price was good.

Mai più
Pros:

Bagno e letto erano puliti, ci hanno dato due bottigliette d’acqua quando siamo arrivati. Personale cordiale.

Cons:

Facciamo un bell’elenco:
- le luci non funzionavano nella camera, faceva solo quella vicino al letto.
- Moquette sporca.

Great value for money. I would stay again if I am ever down that way.
Pros:

The hotel is a little dated but it certainly is value for money. The room was clean as was the bathroom. There were ample tea making facilities. The continental breakfast was an added bonus with a decent selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, preserves and cheese etc.
The staff were very friendly also and ensured that I could check in late at night.

Cons:

The decor on the landings etc needs updating. That is not important to me but some guests may find it an issue.

Good location but not suitable for person with large baggage.
Pros:

The location is great and having train station in walking distance. It was clean room with enough wifi speed.

Cons:

I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor, only to discover that the property does not have an elevator. Navigating a very narrow and steep staircase with several large, heavy suitcases was not only physically exhausting but also felt like a safety hazard.

My primary concern is the lack of transparency during the booking process. There was no clear declaration or warning on your website or booking platform stating that rooms on higher floors are only accessible via stairs. Had this been clearly published, I would have either requested a ground-floor room in advance or chosen alternative accommodations that better suited my needs.

An interesting experience but not one we'd wish to repeat any time soon. Repairs & maintenance neede
Pros:

We were told at check in that the breakfast would be a continental one as the hotel had no cook. The breakfast was very basic & not appetising or attractively presented. Despite these gloomy observations the friendliness of the local clientele using the bar was amazing. We were made very welcome & heard the life stories of several patrons who were eager to chat with us.
The hotel's location was close to the centre of the town which is a delightful place to visit with its many exquisite heritage buildings & extensive Jephson Park which was a riot of spring flowering plants.

Cons:

This hotel exuded an atmosphere of neglect. So many of its fixtures & fittings needed repair or replacement. From the decaying doorstep of the front entrance then into the dingy bar area , up four flights of narrow, steep stairs with worn out carpet to our bedroom [which was surprisingly spacious] the atmosphere was depressing. The bedroom, with its mock 4 poster bed dominating was poorly maintained & none too clean [the dust of ages lurked behind & beneath the bed but the bed linen was clean & bed comfortable]. There was no functioning light[s] in the ensuite but the shower worked ok.

Pros:

Clean, tidy.

Cons:

Shower leaked all over floor. Very loud as back room and karaoke was so loud.
On arrival told kitchen shut so only continental breakfast. No tv remote or ways to change channel or volume. Asked about this but no replacement
