Great location, perfect rooms for the night, friendly staff on reception

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing, 3 of us ordered at the same time received 2 meals, the 3rd arrived after the first 2 finished we believe the waitress passed to the wrong table. Great place except for breakfast

Pros:

Have stayed before. It’s generally a nice homely hotel

Cons:

Had an absolutely tiny room that resulted from an initial assignment of rooms far away from each other separating us from our children. Given how expensive it was to book this was very disappointing

Accommodation in St Andrews seems quite pricey generally, but still remains one of my favourite towns in the world

Pros:

Great location, lovely back patio, excellent staff.

Cons:

While the common areas were fine, the room was underwhelming for the price. The bedding and soft furnishings felt straight out of 1970s. The bathroom and shower were teeny. Everything was a bit dirty and outdated. It reminded me of a US roadside motel room. The breakfast was not great - I chose to pay extra to eat elsewhere. Given the price that was charged for the room (over US $500), I would have expected better.
