Très grande chambre confortable, et calme. Hôtel très bien situé

Avec une toute petite fenêtre, la chambre était très sombre. Même si elle avait une belle vue. Et le prix...c’est quand même too much...Le petit-déjeuner se prend dans le restaurant attenant : sympathique mais moyennement bon.

Perfect and beyond!

We were greeted by the nicest man with a happy smile. The room was beautiful and spacious. Treats were offered! Such as a nice « congratulations » desert for our anniversary- thank you!
I had requested a flat pillow and there it was - thanks so much.
Wifi was excellent, location top and we even got complimentary drinks at their bar.
A wonderful hotel with lots of little details to please visitors. We will obviously always stay here!

Hotel mit spezieller Ambiente an ausgezeichneter Lage.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt knapp ausserhalb dem alten Stadtzentrum (Royal Mile) und doch sehr zentral; gleich gegenüber vom Johnny Walker Haus. Grossmarket erreicht man in rund 8 Gehminuten. New Town beginnt gleich beim Hotel und viele sehr gute Restaurants befinden sich in der nahen Umgebung. Empfehlenswert sind auch die beiden Restaurants im gleichen Gebäude wie das Hotel. Vom Flughafen fährt das Tram in rund 30 Minunten direkt zum West End und von da sind es noch 6 Gehminuten zum Hotel.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Sicht auf die Burg/Altstadt. Wunderbar! Das Zimmer ist bestückt mit vielen reizenden Details und einer Hausbar. Zimmer schallisolliert; dadurch sehr ruhig.
Die Auswahl an Frühstücksmenus ist sehr grosszügig und von bester Qualität.
Das Personal an der Reception, Zimmerservice und im Restaurant ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Etwas harte Matrazen.
Im Badezimmer hatte es kein Glas/Behälter für die Zahnbürste sowie keine Toilettenbürste.

A wonderful boutique hotel in Edinburgh which is ideally located and which we enjoyed!
Pros:

This is a wonderful small hotel ideally located near the Castle and other attractions. Also near many restaurants and shops. Bus stops are close by. The hotel has 2 restaurants in the building and we had breakfast there each day which was included in our room rate. Excellent!

Pros:

Great staff and location! Stayed next to the Joseph Lister home, of Listerene so that is cool. We were in the lower apartment so we had a beautiful courtyard to enjoy. The decor was fun, zebra top hats for lamp shades, the fixture in the living room is so 70's!

Cons:

The stairs down to the apartment were a little bit of a challenge for us older ladies but we managed. The staff took the bags down for us, which we really appreciated. The front room was a bit dark due to the window being under the walkway to the upstairs.

Frukosten. Det tog väldigt lång tid att få en kopp kaffe. Allt skulle beställas. En dag tog det 30 minuter innan vi fick vårt kaffe. Efter det skulle frukosten beställas…
Wi-fi mycket dåligt.
